The trip was very rushed and one gets the feeling that the price-performance ratio is not justified for the effort.
The whole trip was extremely rushed; one had the feeling that the tour guides, despite their very friendly manner, wanted to get everything through quickly. Initially, it was said that it would take from 8:30 to 13:30, but we were already finished with cooking by 11:00, and the tour of the vegetable garden took max. 15 min. We also had to travel independently from Da Nang using a Grab, and therefore we felt that the 60€ was significantly too much. The tour guide then offered us a visit to a duck farm, which we accepted because we were already finished very early anyway, and she charged 500,000 Dong. When we arrived there, we noticed that they actually charge 200,000 Dong per person. The experience there was also very mediocre.

Fun cook activity
My friends and I did the cooking class yesterday and had a blast! The chef was super nice and funny and cooked yummy food with us. We got to the farm a bit late as the grab driver dropped us to the wrong place but they looked after us and helped us getting to the farm.
Definitely recommend for a fun cooking experience!

MUST DO Hoi an experiance. You will not be disappointed.
Just had an unforgettable, amazing trip with our guide called Ms DIem. We rode buffalo, ploughed the paddy field and planted rice. Absolutely exciting. Ms Diam was very knowledgeable and gave us exactly what we wanted. We finished off eating amazing pancakes. Definitely recommend this amazing lady.everyone book it,must do in Hoian

Hoi an cooking
Went to the cooking class via my hostel. Tam picked me up on his motorcycle, and when I got there realized I was the only one there.
So I had a private cooking class and boat ride, lol.
The food in th end did come out good ( and there was so much of it!), but at times the class can feel a bit rushed (then again, I was by myself). The boat ride was very chill, don't expect anything extreme. You chill in the river trying to catch crabs🦀.
Overall would recommend, especially if you have some knowledge in cooking. If you have none, it may be a little more challenging to understand the instructions on what to do.
Tam is an awesome guy, great dude.

Unforgettable Cooking Experience in Hoi An
The rice paper and noodle making cooking class in Hoi An was an absolute highlight! We started the experience with a visit to the traditional local market, where we learned about the fresh ingredients and bought everything we needed for our dishes. It was such a great way to understand Vietnamese cuisine from the very beginning.
After that, we had so much fun on the coconut boat – such a unique and entertaining experience! It added a perfect touch of adventure and made the whole day even more special.
Back at the kitchen, we learned step by step how to make traditional rice paper and fresh noodles – and of course we got to do everything ourselves. It was fascinating to see how much skill and technique goes into the process.
We cooked five different dishes, each one fresh, flavorful, and authentic. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, we were greeted very kindly, and everything was explained clearly. I especially loved how hands-on the class was – we were involved in every step.
At the end, we enjoyed all the dishes, and everything tasted absolutely delicious. A perfect mix of culture, learning, adventure, and amazing food.
