The experience was great! We learned about the history of capoeira, played some instruments and practiced some capoeira moves. Aloan, the instructor, was super nice.

This tour is so much more than Capoeira. It is a mix of Brazilian and Angola history, music, soul, movement, defense and life. We witnessed a class of experts dance, defend, sing and inspire us and each other. With the help of the legend master, we played percussion and sang. We learned capoeira moves and pushed ourselves individually and grew stronger as a family. Our guide Wilson shared translation and history along the old town streets and beyond. Our experience was great. Mestre was extremely knowledgeable and patient with us. He took some time to explain the history of Capoeira and all the details related to the outfits, instruments, and songs. After that part, we practiced basic moves and it was very fun and active.
