The trick is finding this place. If you walk along the bank of the river, you’ll find it, go past the gallery and the iron statues. However the path wouldn’t be very accessible to some and you’ll have to pick your way crossing an old uneven car park. Made us feel “this can’t be the place?” but it is. Took us 20 mins to walk from the carousel. (An Uber takes about the same) so bear that in mind. The boat is different, the views are great and you get to see the city from a different perspective. The only downside was that our guide didn’t really give that much info, the boat was quite quiet. Would have liked some more info re the ship yards in the 80’s.

This was one of the quirkiest and most delightful city boat tours I’ve ever taken. The boats themselves were unusual - maybe even made with reclaimed wood and fittings. Setting off from a site nearby the inimitable contemporary arts installation was a stroke of genius. Our guide Martin was knowledgeable, friendly and quite amusing. He turned what could have been a stiff ‘script’ into an easygoing engagement with all of us on the boat. His commentary was eye opening and lent a good deal of colour to the facts. Adam kept a sure hand on the tiller. All in all, a unique trip that revealed a side of the city other tours might neglect. Thanks, lads.

Beautiful and thorough cruise through Gdańsk. Our guide was knowledgeable and entertaining. Even in August it gets quite cold after 7pm, so wear a couple layers and bring a jacket.

We had the greatest guide possible. He told us storries about Gdansk and showed us pictures on his phone about the history of the place. We got to see the sunset also. Awesome experience!

Great tour guides and Great history lesson

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this as a group!!!! We were a group of 7 people, and the organizer refused to let us all on one boat (designed for 12 people). There was no apparent reason for this. At one point, there were only four people on a boat, but the crew simply ignored that and prioritized other travelers who were there as couples. We were told, without any apparent reason, that we had to split up. This naturally raised the question for us, why??? There was no answer to that. Absolutely incomprehensibly unfair and frustrating, as it was our last evening with friends. Unfortunately, the money has not been refunded yet.

While the pier is a bit difficult to locate, the cruise was fabulous. Our guides took their time, explaining points of interests and navigating through the river and canals. Well worth the time and cost.

Nice boat trip in beautiful surroundings. It was a lovely way to spend the day and vacation in Gdansk. Lots of exciting information about the city.
