Our friendly and knowledgeable guide was Pete. He took us to four pubs that we never would have found on our own. We enjoyed learning the history of each pub and what made each special. We the food was good, but the portions were small. We both left hungry.

Did this food tour around Liverpool with a mix of American and English friends, and our guide Mikey made the whole thing. He was knowledgeable, funny, and clearly loved the city — weaving in local history between stops so it felt like more than just an eating tour. The food was a great mix of Scouse classics and hidden gems we'd never have found ourselves, with generous portions and perfect pacing. Mikey did a brilliant job explaining British terms and dishes for our American friends without ever making it feel like a lecture, and kept things relaxed enough that the whole group bonded along the way. Highly recommend — ask for Mikey if you can!

Loved this experience , little places I’d never find with great food and booze included ! Lots of options inc one with total tasty veggie plates (delish) and the host was warm welcoming and had Irish charm ! Thank you would highly recommend ! caroline x

We had met some American friends so asked for a Beatles slant so started at the Beatles experience. Went onto to have delicious pastries, traditional Liverpudlian stew ( Scouse or Lobby), Spanish cheese and wine and finished up in a pub that used to be a prison! 4 hour tour well worth the money and tailored to our choices

Trev was our guide and was a pleasure to tour with. He had lots of information and the chosen spots were terrific. Food and drink were all on point. I would highly recommend this tour!

We had a fantastic time on the Liverpool Walking Food Tour yesterday. Trev, our guide, was brilliant. Friendly, knowledgeable, and made sure everyone was looked after. The food was absolutely delicious with thoughtful options for everyone, including separate plates for vegetarians and even a dedicated vegetarian stop. We were also lucky with the weather, which made the day even better. Big thanks to Gareth too. The booking process was smooth and communication was excellent. We loved it so much after doing Chester last time and we’ll definitely be back for another tour.

A great experience and a great tour guide. My only negative is that as a vegetarian I felt very short changed! 2 of the places, the Spanish tapas and the Italian were heavily weighted towards meat eaters, especially the Italian where everyone ate more cheese than ham! The 2 veggies were left with very little food. Maybe charge less for veggies or provide some more options especially for the veggies that the others can not eat!

Trev was amazing! He had the best stories and really told me things about history I had no idea about!

We had our tour with Trev, and from the very start he was friendly, open, and informative. My friends and I were 'delicate' from the night before so he tailored the tour to meet our needs. He gave us suggestions for where to go for the remainder of our trip, took us to his favourite pub, and was just a delight to spend an afternoon with. My friends and I did a similar tour in another city and this was far superior. Each venue was welcoming with good quality fare, and I especially liked the vibe of Lanya (though this might've been better with wine flights - obvs for an extra fee) as I didn't love the wine choice. But the a very small 'me problem' and I powered through and drank it like a champ. I would definitely recommend this tour, and definitely definitely recommend Trev.
