We loved every minute of our tour with our wonderful and extremely knowledgeable guide, Gail. It consisted of an energetic two-hour trek through Winchester, learning as much as we could along the way, all of which was fascinating and some of which was very touching. Because Winchester is so steeped in history at every turn, Gail also gave us suggestions and tips for what to see and do next. It was a fabulous way to spend a couple of hours. Thank you, Gail!

A lovely tour of some of winchesters historic sites with someone very knowledgeable but also able to use humour and answers questions for more in depth details.

Our guide, Gail, overloaded us with historical stories about the city and the monarchs who ruled there. Where, like the English are used to, there was also room for a humorous wink. We were lucky that we were the only ones during the tour, which gave us plenty of opportunity to ask questions. It gave us enough information to go inside the buildings they had talked about ourselves afterwards. Besides, Gail was also good company. When we met her later in the cathedral where she was also leading a group, she also took the time to point out objects that she had told us about earlier.

Bryan is an exceptional guide. Friendly and with extensive knowledge on the subject. Furthermore, our group tour became private because we were the only attendees, which made the experience even more pleasant. I would recommend it without a doubt! Thank you!

An amazing walking tour learning about the stunning city of Winchester. Gail was easy to listen to and she shared many interesting facts about what was originally an old Roman settlement which we all really enjoyed. It certainly made us want to come back and learn more. A perfect way to spend Sunday morning in such a beautiful city.

Great tour booked through tourist information centre. Hewyl Thomas was so knowledgeable friendly and professional. He had a great knowledge of the city and inspired us to explore the city more
