Ine and Khalim make a fantastic team! Ine was so kind and accommodating, sharing her personal perspective of the city and even going shopping with me at Sarinah market (a absolute must-see!). Khalim was a patient, attentive driver who handled the Jakarta traffic effortlessly—so glad he was driving instead of me! They were both exceptionally flexible, caring, and welcoming. I can't recommend them enough!

Afternoon Guided Chinatown Tour in Jakarta
Ferdy and our tour guide Gindo was very knowledgeable of the history, he speaks English fluently, and was very accommodating throughout the tour.
1. We Visited Glodok area district, stopped by oldest Chinese Buddhist temple dates back to the 17th century
2. Fatahillah Park - Jakarta Old Town, a large gathering place surrounded by museums, post office, restaurants, etc.
Unfortunately, looking deeper into interesting Wayang museums, and Fine arts are not part of our itinerary.
3. Finally, we thought the PIK was "The highlight of the tour" with modern business district Chinatown feel and plenty of types of restaurants to choose from.

Great tour!
The tour guide, Siti and driver pak Zikri were kind and friendly! We enjoyed the tour learning bits of history and eating good food! Siti was happy to answer any questions we had and ensured we were having a good experience! It was a unique experience!

Fitri is a great guide, and this is a good tour with her as your guide.
Jakarta has a lot of traffic. But you get through it. The PKI 1 is a great place to eat dinner, and get a pic of the Pagoda. Visit PKI 2 at night, and see the lights on the bridge change.

An evening in Jakarta
The tour I selected was not so special rather the company of the Guide Siti who was the best guide I hv ever met travelling all along the world . She was very informative, a very sound knowledge of history, culture of different country was beyond my belief and also very proficient in English . The driver Syamsui was ever courteous and hence the company of them both made the tour and an evening of outing in Jakarta worthwhile . As with the tour they will cover all the places of the itinerary but be ware of the traffic in Jakarta .

Very interesting tour.
Very interesting tour. We were picked up at ships dock by our guide 'Borneo'. He and his driver expertly weaved their way through the congested streets of Jakarta to arrive at 'Old' Chinatown. An interesting assortment of storefronts some with some very old cabinetry reminiscent of times past. We walked through a maze of alleys lined with vendors of various wares toward an old Buddhist shrine which unfortunately had burned down and has been replaced by a temporary structure - but still interesting. From there we moved to the Dutch Old Town and walked the old plaza surrounded by administrative buildings from the time of Dutch rule. We then drove to PIK Avenue - wow what a difference. This is modern and organized section of the city vastly different from the ramshackle old city with its dense population and heavy traffic. This is where you'll find the Pagoda shown in the ad for this tour. Lastly, we visited the fish market. For me it was the most interesting part of the tour because it was different from most other markets I've visited in Asia. A huge market brimming with all kinds of fish of both fresh and saltwater. Trucks were constantly arriving with new catch. Others were leaving loaded with their purchases. Thousands of vendors, lots of activity. A visual feast. Our guide. Borneo was entertaining and showed us a good time.
