Excellent value. Add the river cruise it's worth it. Smallish bus so could go down windy roads a big bus can't reach. Went to so many charming places. Would have been so much trickier renting a car and figuring it out myself. Our guide was so nice I'm sorry I forget her name. June 29 tour date. Also, get the gingerbread it's the best ever. A wonderful full day with Shelly seeing various famously beautiful and historic parts of the Lake District. She shared lots of useful and interesting information. A great way to see this part of the country.

I travelled with my wife and niece on a sunny and warm spring in May 2026. Great experience to be able to see the beauty of Lake District coupled with fun interaction with Adrian, our driver, who has lots of dad jokes that he threw along while on the journey. Highly recommended tour.

Shelly was out guide. Very helpful and great personality. Learned alot about the area. Pretty country and villages. So glad we were not driving!! Very small roads. Boat ride was nice

I particularly enjoyed the boat lake cruise. The guide gave a round experience with his commentary. I would recommend if you're looking to visit the lake district and have a comprehensive experience.

We did the Lake District sightseeing tour from Liverpool. We really enjoyed it, the journey was smooth and Frank our driver was great and kept us informed and entertained on the journey up with snippets of local history and then interesting pieces about famous people from the Lakes as we travelled around. We visited Windermere and did an optional cruise which was lovely, then onto Grasmere and Ambleside too. We also went up into the mountains and did a spot of walking (optional) which was great being able to take in all the scenery. We really enjoyed the day and will look to take another trip with Busy Bus soon. I would definitely recommend this trip to anyone.

Absolutely amazing day trip. The Lake District is simply stunning. And all the little towns we stopped at were charming and worth a visit. Or guide, Shelly, was lovely and full of information. We want to come back and see more of the area one day.

Franck was our guide during this magnificent tour: sun, landscapes, British humor and phlegm on the menu. Unforgettable!!! A real good time for lovers of nature and authenticity.
