This was a very disappointing tour because our guide was not prepared at all. She kept reading from paper notes while driving and gave very little information about the area. The worst part was that I had to shout “hey driver, are you okay?” When I saw her dozing off while on the highway! Then, we were off on narrow roads which would have been scenic, but she was driving very fast on a rainy, foggy day. When we returned to Ambelside, she said she would have to “figure out” how to go ahead with the tour. I left on my own for a train ride back to Liverpool which cost an additional $30. Poor planning, unsafe driving, and lack of proper training. Other passengers were concerned and thanked me for my actions. Please review. I will offer her name privately if contacted.

Ann was a absolute hoot! She was wonderful and full of history! this is an absolute must do adventure!

It was such a great experience - from the informative and entertaining commentary, to the magnificent scenery, to the fact that I didn’t have to drive, plan the trip and find parking. I’ve now taken two different trips with Busy Bus and I would take more in the future

Shelly our guide was fantastic. She made our trip very enjoyable. The lake district was very beautiful. We would like to go to the lake district to explore more. We did a boat ride, shopping, lunch, hike and beautiful surroundings.

Lovely area. Enjoyed the boar ride on Windermere. Adrian was delightful and took care of us even going above and beyond. We got stuck for 3 hours on the highway due to an accident/road closure. Dropped me at my hotel. The stops were interesting

Excellent way to see lake district. Very punctual Plenty time to explore the little towns. Easy to locate meeting points. Brilliant driver and very entertaining .Would recommend lake trip. Highly recommended.

Another brilliant BusyBus trip. Great value for the day and our guide, Alan, was very knowledgeable. Took a good 9 hours and the Lakes were gorgeous. Do the optional boat trip - it is well worth the admission.

Fun day out. Very well planned by the Frank our guide. He was funny and created a nice atmosphere. We had sufficient free time at each stop. Nice small group of 8 people. Highly recommend.
