We had a fantastic experience with Emo Tours Egypt, with Sam as our guide. Sam was extremely knowledgeable and we learnt so much throughout the tour. He gave us plenty of helpful guidance and we really enjoyed the way he explained each site before giving us some free time to explore and take everything in at our own pace. We also stopped at an alabaster workshop and store, which gave us the opportunity to see how the pieces are made and purchase items (in USD) if we wanted to. Our driver was excellent as well. The car was very clean, the air conditioning was great, and we felt completely safe and comfortable throughout the tour. Overall, a really enjoyable and well-organised experience. We would definitely recommend Emo Tours Egypt and especially Sam as a guide!

Excellent guided tour! Very informative and beat the crowds to have the best views. Our driver Khaled was great and so friendly and our guide Salwa was the best, shs had excellent knowledge and helped us to enjoy the day so much! Would definitely recommend!

I worked with Ahmed and Kassem and they were great! I was solo so we were able to be flexible and stay shorter/longer at each stop depending on what I wanted. Very knowledgeable and never felt like I was a bother. 10/10!

Tour was completely fine and professional, but the guide offered me services for taxi the next day to airport and payed in advance, they never showed up I almost lost my flight.

Amazing tour! This tour included everything that we wanted to go see. Loved that this was private so we were able to customize it and spend shorter/longer time at places. Our guide & driver were fantastic (forgot their names so sorry). They picked us up at our hotel, made our way down to all the sites. We felt like we had a good amount of time at each one. Tour guiding is not allowed inside many of the places so our guide gave us tons of info before we went in. Our guide was so knowledgable & knew the answers to all our questions. He was also very patient and good at taking photos. The place we ate lunch at was delicious. We also stopped by a sculpture, carpet, and a papyrus place. We bought a sculpture & carpet but didn’t end up buying anything from the papyrus. It is fun to see how each thing is made.

We had an absolutely amazing experience in Luxor with our guide, Salwa! We have already taken other tours in Giza and Cairo during our trip, but I can genuinely say that this was the best tour we’ve had in Egypt so far. Salwa was incredibly knowledgeable about Egyptian history and explained everything in such an interesting way. She took us through both the West Bank and East Bank, including the beautiful Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut and so many other incredible places. She also went out of her way to help us with things that weren’t necessarily part of the tour. She took us to see Egyptian oils, helped us while we were looking for a nice gold chain, and at the end took us to see how the local stone pieces are made. Those extra experiences made the day feel much more personal and special. I honestly could have stayed there asking Salwa questions about Egyptian history for another five hours 😂 but unfortunately, I think she eventually needed to go home! A huge thank you to Salwa for her knowledge, patience, kindness, and for making our time in Luxor so memorable. And a special thank you to our driver as well for taking such good care of us throughout the entire day. If you are visiting Luxor, I highly recommend Salwa. She made us appreciate Egyptian history even more! 🇪🇬❤️
