Long day but saw a lot so well worth the time spent. Salvo was a great driver and very knowledgeable about his homeland Sicily. We really enjoyed the time with him and exploring Noto, Siracusa and Ortigia.

Great overview of different phases of Sicilian history. Our driver was very knowledgeable however he didn’t accompany us to any sites. Gave us good explanation and a map. Dropped us off and picked us up at the other end. It worked out although we could have used more time in Siracusa.

Both Siracusa and Noto are beautiful cities and Salvo is an excellent driver and guide. Be sure to have time for a lunch by the sea in Siracusa.

Salvo, our guide and driver was exactly what we wanted; someone who would tell us about the countryside and then let us take our time to visit the locations we chose. There was an issue with the freeway traffic and we were stopped for quite some time. We agreed to only visit Noto because of the lost time, but enjoyed our stay there. If you want more independence on your trips to the hill towns, I would recommend Salvo especially because we had been in Sicily for 12 days and were tired of hearing about the history over and over again.

Wonderful tour! He was a great tour guide who gave us plenty of options and asked us what we wanted to do and what our interests were. He allotted plenty of time for us to do the activities that we selected. This was a great one day Excursion!

Perfect day of shopping, learning, and seeing beautiful sights. Loved loved this day! Our driver was kind and considerate to what we wanted to see and do. Also very knowledgeable.

We arranged a day trip with Salvo who was very helpful and gave us valuable information and even a couple of maps for the places that we visited. Even went to the British Military Cemetery in Catania that I requested (Uncle buried there) even though not on the planned day. Comfortable car. Highly recommend.

Salvo was warm, kind and very knowledgeable about the area. He was open in his opinions when we discussed various nuances of the area which we enjoyed. If you are looking for a handheld tour/guide this isn’t for you. Instead Salvo gave us his recommendations and we were free to make our own choices which made the day work very well for us.
