Lovely tour. Guadeloupe kept it going with historical information and her favorite things about the royal palace and cathedral. Loved her insight into the city and how she tied the history of the places we visited. Her English is great and I had no trouble understanding her ( I am bilingual so take that as you will). Ticket line went pretty fast even with how crowded it was. I believe we went a bit over our time frame but it was well worth it. After you tour the Royal palace, she gives you time to explore the gardens on your own. There’s a little coffee shop to get drinks and food. There’s are ducks and peacocks just fyi in case you’re scared, they are just looking for crumbs. It was pretty warm, I believe the temp was 98 F that day. I was pretty sweaty but could have been worse honestly. Bring water!

If you want the history, book a guide

A definately value added tour !
Maria (Gusdalupe) is a very experienced guide. She was able to share so much insights and history of the two locations we have visited. She even gone all out for us to experince scenes in the palace including smell sample so that we can appreciate the layout of a courtyard garden within the palace which was then designed for the royals to smell the fruits. This is definately a tour worth consideing! Thanks Maria!

Amazing tour
Guadeloupe was wonderful and very detailed during the tour. The cathedral, tower, and alcazar were extremely impressive and we learned a lot.
