Liga was perfect, blue lagoon really good

A really excellent experience and great value for money. Aphrodites Baths was a relatively quick stop, but given the heat of the day, was a perfect duration. The Blue Lagoon element was clearly the highlight. Our boat the Latchi Queen was a perfect size - at capacity but never felt overcrowded. The crystal blue waters are amazing to swim in. Really good waters for young children too and the boat staff very helpful. Life jackets for anybody who felt they were needed for the swim. Children really well catered for. After disembarking, we were taken by our coach to the lovely village/town of Polis Chrysochous. The recommended tavern of Moustakallis was brilliant. A lovely family restaurant with traditional Cypriot food and welcomes. The Kleftiko I had was gorgeous. Still has time to walk the very short distance to the centre of the village with other eateries, 3 (from memory) gelato stores (tasted great) and a few quality gift shops. Some nice photo opportunities too…. A final ‘coffee stop’ was made prior to drop offs where you could view the sea caves, shipwreck and view a banana plantation. All fascinating, but easily coveted in the 30 minute stop! Was a great trip - nice to climb up out of Paphos and the views from the coach were great. A really nice way to see more of the Island. Anna the host was knowledgeable and very approachable!

We had a fabulous day , and our guide Liga was so knowledgeable and made the day . We enjoyed ourselves so much we have booked for tomorrow to go to the Troodos 100% Cyprus trip with constructor tours again

Anna was extremely professional, polite and accommodating. I was the only solo traveller on that excursion so she made sure to seat me at the front so I would be safe under her eye. This excursion was amazing, really does tire you out though as it’s a full day! I met two lovely ladies along the way, and the views / blue lagoon especially was incredible, really really lovely excursion. Please go if you’re thinking about it! You won’t regret it.

Despite a shaky start where we were sent 2 different pick up locations and had to run for the bus, we ended up having an amazing day. We had plenty of time at each location, our guide Anna, was very knowledgeable but wasn’t overbearing with it. Swimming in the blue lagoon with my husband and our sons (20 & 16) is a memory I’ll cherish forever. The whole day was a fantastic experience.

Despite the very windy weather, we still managed to enjoy a swim in the Blue Lagoon. Huge credit to our guide, who was incredibly supportive and made everyone feel comfortable throughout the boat trip. The entire day was great and exactly as described and the guide was informative and friendly. Pickup and drop off were well organised and on time.

This was an absolutely amazing day trip and my family and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Our tour guide Liga was very professional, warm and friendly and had a sense of humour. She did an excellent job at conveying information in a concise and interesting manner. She has a very good knowledge of the Cypriot history and of the sights we visited. She shared and explained facts /local stories clearly and everything came alive in a deep cultural context which created a lasting and memorable experience. She also explained health benefits of some local Cypriot foods like Carob syrup - a thick, natural sweetener made from the pods of the Mediterranean carob tree. High in levels of antioxidants, calcium, potassium, and dietary fibre. I will definitely be trying this product. Thank you to our driver Andreas for taking us there and back safely and for his patience. The swim in the blue lagoon was the highlight of my day and an unforgettable experience, the water was remarkably warm, crystal-clear and magical. The views driving up into the mountains were absolutely breath-taking, natural beauty in its purest form. The sea caves and rugged cliffs, the shipwreck – all amazing sights. Last but not least – the food at the small tavern in Polis recommended by the tour guide was very good food, delicious, mouth-watering and affordable. My family and I had a memorable, fulfilling and fantastic trip. Ella
