Wonderful tour. The guide, Matko referred to this site as the treasure site of Croatia that most Croatians visit and wow, he was right. We loved him and the magnificent lakes and falls. The setting was very peaceful. Matko was one of the best guides we have had. He drove us to the site and stayed with us and shared lots of info on the site and I do on the history and culture of Croatia.

Documents showed a 0700 departure. Actual departure was 0800. Numerous phone calls were made, responses were incomplete and erroneous. The drive to the National Park was in an old small Lancia, not on a tour bus. The driver was nice but dropped us off at the park and told us to be back at the mini van in 3 hours. The excursion was scheduled for 4.5 hours. There was no tour guide. A beautiful park but for $210 it was not a good experience.

Plitvice lakes is beautiful and a must-see destination in Croatia. Our driver, Maja, was kind and inclusive. However, this tour is extremely overpriced. You are driven to the lakes in an older 7-seater car. Maja was knowledgeable and was providing information about each location that we drove past, however, we were sat at the back so couldn’t hear a thing. Once at the lakes, you are required to provide €40 each in cash for your ticket into the lakes - in my opinion, this should be included given the price point of this tour. Ultimately, I think this is extremely overpriced and not worth the amount I paid. I would’ve been happy to give a 5-star review if it was at least half the price.

The park is about 2.5 hours outside of Rijeka- know ahead of time it will be an all day experience. It is also very hilly and slippery on the paths, wear appropriate clothing and shoes. Our guide and driver Maja was awesome and super sweet- she was very accommodating.

This 'tour' is extremely over priced. It is essentially just a transfer, not a tour. The 'guide' had clearly never been into the National Park. You would be better off hiring a car for the day or trying to find a private driver. The people in the information offices are much more knowledgeable about the park than the driver was. Maybe it is cost effective for a solo traveller, but not for a couple or group. Plitvice Lakes is a must see destination in Croatia. It is just stunning, but find another way to get there.

Plitvice Lakes is one of the most beautiful places on the planet. Amazing day spent with Maya as our driver. She was super knowledgeable and accommodating. Highly recommend this tour company.

Great experience with our amazing guide Maja! A place to see absolutely. Wow wow wow!! A breathtaking landscape worth a visit.

A delight! We chose entrance 2 and circuit H which allows to see all the lakes, waterfalls while descending. Crossing a lake by boat to reach the other part of the circuit H. Large esplanade to take lunch or his picnic. Crossings flush with the water are wide and well secured. Do not venture with shoes or sandals, prefer sneakers and warm clothing for the boat if the weather is Covered. It was a magical moment!
