Highly recommend! Dani was an excellent tour guide. He knows the history of Marrakech so well and added so much valuable context to the sites we saw. He brought us to the Islamic college Ben Youssef, the Secret Jardins, and many great shopping spots in the souks (markets). His commentary was very welcome and he was very helpful with our questions. We took our time and he even met us at our Riad near the main Jemma el Fna. He never pressured us to shop or buy from a vendor, and gave great recommendations for lunch.

It was a pleasure learning about Marrakech from Dani on our private walking tour. He was fantastic to work with and will absolutely call him again when I return to Marrakech! Thank you!

Whether you’re visiting for the first time or you’d like to add to your experiences, this private guided tour is definitely recommended! We went as first timers and we had an amazing time. Our guide, Dani, helped us navigate the corridors of the market while sharing his knowledge on the culture and history of the place. The tour took approximately 2 and a half hours for us because we went during a quiet period, so we’ve been able to move quickly rather than get stuck in crowds of people. We also had the option to visit two museums with separate admission fees and we chose to go in. Overall this experience is good value for money and we’d recommend it to anyone visiting Marrakesh, especially if it’s their first time.

We did the tour with Dani who was very professional and gave us very interesting explanations showing us corners of the Medina that are not shown on other more touristy tours. He was very kind and at all times he adapted to our pace. He was also very understanding and efficient in managing a change to the initial visit date that we could not do because they changed the order of the circuit we had booked. An unforgettable and recommended experience.

Spending half a day exploring Marrakech with Dani was easily one of the highlights of our trip. From the start, he was warm, engaging and incredibly knowledgeable, with so many interesting stories and insights about the city and the Medina. What really made the tour stand out was how personal it felt. As we walked around, we passed plenty of much larger tour groups and it made us appreciate having such an intimate experience even more. We could stop when we wanted, ask questions and explore at a really relaxed pace rather than simply following a crowd. Dani showed us so many hidden corners of the Medina that we definitely wouldn’t have discovered by ourselves. We also stopped at a number of different souks where he clearly had great relationships with the local sellers. Everyone was welcoming and, importantly, there was absolutely no pressure or expectation to buy anything. Four hours flew by and we came away feeling like we’d seen and learned far more than we ever could have wandering around alone. Brilliant value and something I’d definitely recommend, particularly if it’s your first time in Marrakech.

Nice experience, good communication before and after the tour

The tour was a great introductory experience to the city. Our guide Dani made us feel like home, showing us the gems of this beautiful city and hidden spots in the souks. He was really informative and was providing info to the questions we had. I would highly recommend this tour!
