The tour was great. Arturo was nice and knowledgeable. I especially enjoyed visiting the churches and learning about their histories.
We did not do so well with the operator, we were picked up 1.5 hours late, the driver Adair seemed upset during the trip, in the bus my wife and I traveled in separate seats. At least they put the time of the delay on you and the tour ended later than planned. The places are lovely, the cutest thing we saw in MX, however the operator did not give us the best experience.
It was a terible expirience. We arrive to CDMX and book this trip to have a good day. In morning we have some issue to meet the startpoint and I wrote them to ask what is the final startingpoint to get there. They said that are not willing to wait for us. The worst thing was that I arrive to the starting point 5 mintos before the time in the ticket and they just left without us.
We recently went on a tour in Puebla, Mexico, and overall, it was a very good experience. The city is beautiful, rich in culture and history, and the tour itself was well-organized and informative. Our guide was knowledgeable and passionate, which really added to the experience. However, one thing that could have made the tour even better would be the use of headsets or audio equipment. At times, especially in noisy or crowded areas, it was difficult for everyone to hear the guide clearly—particularly when he was translating from Spanish to English. Having headsets would ensure that everyone can follow along and not miss any important details. Despite that, I would still recommend this tour to others. It’s a great way to explore Puebla and learn more about its unique heritage.
I got curious about this excursion by browsing online for tours to Puebla. This specific tour caught my attention because it offered a guide in Spanish, which was perfect for my mom to have a better experience listening to the language she knows best. The tour guide Adrian and my driver were so informative, nice and funny. We were lucky to be in a van of only women and although it was a long drive to Puebla and Cholula they made sure that we were comfortable and entertained. They were able to provide us with a lot of stops in some beautiful unique churches, landmarks and best of all were the stops at two mercados. The Mercado that we stopped at towards the end of the tour was the best because they had so many options of treats, clothes, souvenirs and pretty much anything you are looking for! I really loved that it wasn’t an all talking tour, because they also allowed us to listen to music, take pictures, eat and ask questions. Adrian’s dad was in charge of the English tour and Adrian was our tour guide, but they were both great! And of course the driver too, because he made sure that we had AC in the van, able to listen to the music and transport us carefully. We had such an amazing time that we even became friends with some ladies that we met on the tour. Honestly you will not regret what you pay for the excellent service!
The guide and driver very friendly, helpful and attentive, the tour very interesting. The church Santa Maria de Tonanzitla is beautiful! We really liked it!
The tour guide Alaxandra was great. My major complaint is that you only have 50 minutes at Cholula, which isn't enough time to walk around the archeological site and visit the UNESCO church on top of the hill/pyramid. So you have to choose one. Also, FYI, the tunnels were (potentially are) closed and I was very disappointed by that, as nowhere on the internet did they say this until you get there and see a sign at the ticket booth. This is not the tour's fault, just letting people who want to explore the tunnels know .. but if they were open, the 50-minute stop definitely wouldn't be enough time to explore them.
Very convenient tour. Is semi-guided. They pick you up at your location, take you to the places, give explanation about places but let time on your own to explore. So no boring lots of history that you will never remember. Thanks to Julio and Raul. Recommended.
It is a nice tour, we found the guide excellent, his name is Jaime and you can tell he likes what he does. Puebla is beautiful, going up to the Cholula church is a pleasant experience and for cultural reasons, the Tonantzintla church is seriously special and should be known. However, as a recommendation, they should choose another restaurant or leave free time for the client to choose, since the food was ugly, expensive and the cleanliness of the restaurant leaves a lot to say
Very little to see in both towns. The church at the top of the dirt mount in Cholula is a recent church, not interesting at all. Furthermore the usual picture of the church with the volcano as a background is usually a false image. First, to take this picture you need a drone. Second the volcano is much farther than what most pictures show. We even found tours using a composite image with the wrong volcano! This being said the view remains interesting, but that is all you will get. The pyramid is a dirt mount. The portions of stone steps visible at some locations are an erroneous reconstitution made years ago.
Hello, regarding your visit to Cholula, it is not a hill, it is the remains of a Toltec pyramid that began its construction in the year 300 BC. and the church that is at the top dates from the colonial era, its construction began in the year 1594 and the stairs are more modern and were built to help climb.
