This was an excellent activity! Kamal was so great at teaching and speaking to us about the history and meaning of Batik. We had the best time and recommend this fun class to everybody!

Today I joined the batik painting at Kamal Arts at Wisma Geylang Serai. It let me understand more about batik painting skill. It took about 2.5 hours to completed the whole process. It is fun and I truly enjoyed.
Great experience. Learnt much about the history and techniques of batik painting from local artist Kamal. And able to leave with a completed unique art piece. 👍💕

I went with my 9 years old grand-daughter. We were guided by Kamal. An Interesting short introduction about Batik and its symbolic designs. Patient and attentive guidance through the process.

Really fun new experience with a batik artist who travels internationally to share his art. Kamal was a very patient teacher. The class was a very nice part of my three day Singapore trip, a great break from the heat and regular sightseeing. My finished product was gently placed in a beautiful cloth pouch as a memento of the class. Highly recommend and I will be back on my next trip to Singapore.

Kamal is a great teacher and a fantastic artist! We had a small group of 3 students, very lovely ladies. The work space is very big and organized, materials were supplied and ready for us. He gave a good overview of batik and ran through the steps. It was fun to choose our pictures and we had a chance to practice before we started our pieces. My final piece is beautiful and I had a great time. I highly recommend his class, it was a very fun afternoon, I would love to return again.
