I had an afternoon, night, and morning planned for Amboseli and emailed a handful of operators for quotes on ground transportation and a two-part private safari. Betty from Perfect Wilderness was quick to respond and had pricing and logistics details that made sense for my trip. She arranged transport from NBO to Wilson airport and then my Safari driver Joseph met me on the air strip in the park. He was friendly, helpful, and an overall good person to get to spend hours on safari with. We saw lots of animals and he adjusted our approach in the park based on what I was interested in seeing. The 4x4 Safari Land Cruiser was in great condition and comfortable. Overall, I'd recommend using Perfect Wilderness in Kenya.

Incomplete benefits without compensation
The guide provided did not master French as requested , his payment methods did not work loss of 2 hours visit in front of the park and in gas station
The vehicle did not have an interior mirror
No provision of water bottles during the safari

Safari Vehicle: As part of our commitment to providing a better experience, we upgraded your safari vehicle from a customized safari van to a luxury Land Cruiser 4x4 Jeep to enhance your comfort during the Amboseli safari.
French-Speaking Guide: Our guide, who we assigned to your group, is French-speaking and confirms that he guided you in French from day one through to the end of your Safari, as per your request.
He also confirms that he brought bottled water and it was provided to you in the Vehicle during the safari, as part of our standard service.
Other Concern regarding the time spent at the park entrance; The Payment failure at the Park entrance gate was due to network issues with e-citizen government platform- this is an unforeseen circumstance that was beyond our control that may have caused the delays.
We strive to provide a seamless and enjoyable safari experience, and we hope that, despite the points you mentioned, you were able to enjoy the beauty of Amboseli and game watching of the animals.

Amboseli overnighter.
We did this tour through a Trip Advisor booking. There was just the two of us and our driver/guide Black Santa. We stayed overnight at the AA Lodge just outside of the park. Black Santa was a very competent and safe driver, excellent guide and great company. Nothing was any trouble to him. We saw an amazing array of birds and animals and Santa's knowledge of such was extensive. The accommodation was lovely and the food and hospitality was fantastic. All in all a brilliant experience.

Great tour with really great guide.
Such a great experience. We really enjoyed the overnight 2 day safari tour to Amboseli Nationalpark with Edwin nyakundi. He was such a great guide: he drove us safely the whole distance, stopped in the park for us, when animals were visible and gave us interesting information about everything. It was such a great experience and Edwin was a big part of it. He always tried to communicate with other guides, to get information about sightings. The stay at the lodge and the lunch at the other lunch on the second day were really nice.
The only thing, we can complain about, was, that Edwin had different rooms/lunch/dinner than we had. We would have loved to eat together and it felt a little discriminatory to us. So maybe it would be possible to change this, so the guides, that are doing such a great job, could stay together with the tourists.

Magnificent views of Mount Kilimanjaro, and staying in rustic cabin! Extraordinary animals!
Our tour to the Amboseli national Park was truly an outstanding experience. My daughter and I took this tour as an extension to a previous tour to other parks. What was special about a Amboseli was the opportunity to view Mount Kilimanjaro on two different days. Another exceptional, part of the trip was a rare opportunity to stay at Camp Kili, staying in rustic cabins and run by an incredible Massi family. Benjamin and his family were truly outstanding hosts during our overnight stay. His brother also was a fabulous chef. We really enjoyed eating outside and then in the evening sitting around the campfire. During our lunch meal, we had monkeys in the trees! Such incredibly gracious people. The other outstanding part of the trip was our guide Samuel with whom we are still in contact with. We saw amazing families of large elephants, hippos, right at the edge of our vehicle, and a huge number of exotic birds. We could not have been more pleased with our tour!

Incredible safari experience
The safari was truly amazing, we saw many more animals than I expected (zebras, giraffes, wildebeest, hippos, warthogs, gazelles, baboons, buffalo, flamingos, tons of elephants, and more). Amboseli as well as the lodge we stayed at were wonderful and our guide, Black Santa, made it so much better with his humor and knowledge. I left an item in the car when he dropped us off and he drove all the way back to Westlands from Jomo Kenyatta Intl Airport and brought it to me at my hotel. I can’t recommend the experience or Black Santa enough!

Right Place, Right Time
We had the pleasure to go on a 2 days/1 night Safari accompanied by our guide Samy!
The drive to and from the park was smooth and quick, but best of all was his ability to bring us to the right place at the right time once in the park.
We managed to saw a ton of game from very close and snapped some beautiful pictures. But most importantly, we made good memories!
Samy also managed to sort out a minor inconvenient to our vehicle and we had a seamless experience as a result.
Highly recommended for couples or small groups, and if you can, as for Samy.

Amazing!!
Black Santa was my tour guide and was absolutely amazing. Friendly, knowledgeable, funny. Everything you can one and four guide. Amboseli was beautiful and will stay with me forever.

Be careful when completing payment
The tour went well, early pick up, driving to Amboseli et back the next day. A very knowledgeable guide during the park tour, especially on the different bird species. Little downside was the lack of air conditioning in the van, not for the park tour but the 8 hours drive from and to Nairobi. A bigger downside is the fact that I paid 200 USD more than the price advertised, and never heard back from Perfect Safari when I ask for an explanation. So I can't recommend booking with them.

Please note that we do not collect money from clients. It is all paid to TripAdvisor and we are the ground handling agents. So issues with money have to be raised through TripAdvisor and they have mechanisms for that. Not on a public review website.
