We had a great experience and everything was incredibly easy from start to finish. Güler was wonderful to work with and made the entire process of organizing and customizing our itinerary very simple. Communication was excellent throughout, and she was always responsive and flexible in accommodating what we wanted to see and do. The tours themselves were fantastic, and everything was very well coordinated. They managed to fit everything we wanted into a short amount of time without it ever feeling rushed. Ms.Gular was very helpful in planning our 3 days of private cars, drivers and English speaking guides in Kusadasi and Istanbul, Turkey. My wife and I were very pleased with the itineraries she developed. Ms. Deniz in Ephesus, Ms. Ceren and Mr. Malih in Istanbul were terrific and made the sites spectacular to visit. Guler and Osman were excellent to work with! Despite a short notice, they were able to arrange an excellent guide in Dilshad, we loved hearing stories from her and she was very patient and knew all the short cuts to save us times from long lines. We covered the Topaki Palace, Hagia Sofia, Basilica Cistern and the Blue Mosque, she was also able to help us find a yum vegetarian lunch.

We worked with our amazing operator Guler to create a family friendly tour (3 and 9 year olds) including Istanbul and Cappadocia. She suggested full day tours in both cities and paired us with two wonderful guides. Our kids were entertained while learning alongside us parents, and we appreciated their expertise when recommending food stops and lookouts. She suggested some hands-on learning opportunities like cooking and pottery lessons and set us up with amazing family accomodations that worked perfectly for our family. (Especially the walkout terrace for hot air balloon viewing) I would highly recommend using this travel company if you are looking to bring your family to Turkiye. Thank you Guler!

Had great experience with Diana: we visited the places we wanted, the tour guide tailored duration and focus of each of the locations to our preferences, picked us up at the hotel and dropped us off there as well, helped us to choose lunch option. Her English was great and she maintained excellent conversation both with us and with locals, for instance with museum staff. The agency was flexible adjusting to our existing tickets and providing tickets we could not book online and helping buying tickets on the spot. Overall that felt like a first class experience - 100% recommend!

We were a group of 8 and had a blast the whole day. Baredootplus is equipped with highly qualified staff and Guler — our main contact — was excellent in responding in a detailed a courteous manner to our into distance correspondence. The price was fair for a tour of 3 major attractions followed by a late lunch at a great restaurant topped at the end of the day with a 2-hour yacht tour. Everything was booked by Guler and professionally handled upon arrival. The driver was on time to pick us up from the airport and drop us back. I will not leave out our guide Diana, a knowledgeable and very pleasant personality. I would recommend her in a heartbeat! Thank you guys!

In our stay in Istanbul we were flanked by a young guide, prepared punctual polite, with whom we felt .. at home. He accompanied us to all the most beautiful corners of this magical and fascinating city. Services also included transfers to/from IST airport, highly appreciated and punctual. Eda was so friendly and showed me all the best spots!! She was very considerate about taking some short breaks if I needed to, so we never got too tired of all the walking. I had a great time and learned so much! She was very knowledgeable about all the history and was able to answer any questions I asked. I felt very safe though it was my first time traveling solo. She offered to take photos of me periodically as well!

Guler of Barefoot Plus Travel was a pleasure to work with when coordinating our day trip for a group of 12 - very accommodating, timely replies and terrific recommendations re: sights, local food and activities. We had an excellent tour with Diana Misir who was very knowledgeable in art and history. Topkapi Palace was closed the day of our tour and Diana told us to plan at least a half day at Topkapi Palace - well worth it! We will surely use Barefoot Plus Travel again!

First Day: Istanbul mosques: Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia, as well as the gardens surrounding them. The incredible sunken Cistern- amazing! Enjoyed local ethnic luncheon menu, family style, delicious! Second Day: The Dolmabhace Palace (WOW!), the newly restored Galata Tower- spectacular views!!! Again enjoyed a lunch at a wonderful restaurant with delicious family-style food! Our guide was a lovely young woman, intelligent, articulate, warm welcoming personality- Diana. *Highly recommend requesting her Our family is having a wonderful trip here in Turkey because we’re together with a heightened experience with the help of our guide Diana.
