TK absolutely crushed it. I coordinated with him from abroad for a surprise proposal shoot at Kenroku-en — I chose the garden, but he dropped an exact pin for the perfect spot within it and gave me clear positioning instructions so he could capture the moment without tipping off my partner. The whole experience was seamless from start to finish. He sourced flowers for the shoot, worked with my specific requests without missing a beat, and his English was excellent, making remote planning easy. When the moment happened, he captured it perfectly — the emotion, the surprise, everything. The photo curation and edits were outstanding, and turnaround was prompt. The price was more than fair for what we got. First time I've ever worked with a photographer, and I couldn't imagine a better introduction. Highly recommend.

TK was very amiable and professional. We were not used to photoshoots, so he helped direct us on how we could pose (tho also encouraged us to do whatever we wanted). He had at least two professional cameras on him as we walked around Kenrokuen, and he knew all the best spots/angles to get great shots. The edited photos turned out great, thank you!

WOW!! Holy Moly!! Damn!! Those were a few words among other unspeakable words we said when we viewed our pictures taken by TK photography. This post will be long so to jump to the conclusion, just book TK photography for a photoshoot. Don’t think twice, just trust and book. During our Japan trip, my wife suddenly wanted to take family pictures so I went on a hunt for photographers and locations. We decided on visiting Kanazawa so I searched for photographers in that city. TK photography was the first link that appeared on my google search and he had the most reviews. He was highly rated on google reviews and tripadvisor. I looked through his webpage and instagram page. TK communicated well in English through emails, WhatsApp, and in person. A few emails later with TK and I booked a photoshoot package. TK showed up on time to pick me up from my hotel. We went to 4 locations and shot a good amount of pictures efficiently. TK directed us to all the backdrops, instructed us on the poses, and timed the shots to avoid people in our pictures. The service was professional and timely from start to end. TK edited and delivered our digital pictures unbelievably fast. I had high hopes for the pictures of my wife and I. I did not expect much from pictures with my 4-year old son since he was only intermittently cooperative that day. Our jaws dropped when we saw the professionally edited pictures which was delivered in a lightning fast record of the same day. The pictures were absolutely beautiful. TK nailed all the pictures. Our son was not his usually happy self and he just displayed intermittent episodes of laughter on the day of the photoshoot. TK was able to capture all his joyous expressions that may have occurred for just a second but that was enough time for TK to recognize the moment and press the shutter. The pictures that TK captured of my son were the best pictures of him from any photographer. My wife and I were shocked at how great the pictures turned out. Everything was phenomenal including the composition, facial expressions, angle, lighting, contrast, focus, sharpness, depth of field, and colors. I love how TK was able to capture shots of us that appear very natural as if we were not posing for the camera at all. The pictures truly shows love and affection between my wife and I and our shared love and joy with our son. I could not ask for better pictures. TK’s pricing for his photography packages is a spectacular deal given the quality of work. TK let us know ahead of time that 100 pictures in 2.5 hours with a small child may be difficult but he will try to get all the shots. TK got all 100 pictures and all of them were perfect. There were NO shots of low or average quality thrown in just to get the 100 pictures. Did I tell you all I am amazed because I gotta shout it out from the top of my lungs one more time. My wife gave me so much praise for finding TK photography. Summary: TK photography is a master at his photography craft and his expertise with taking family pictures in Kanazawa is exceptional.
