Our family absolutely loved this tour! From start to finish, it was such a fun, memorable, and special experience. We were especially impressed with the tour company and with Thanos and Christine, who were not only incredibly knowledgeable but also so warm, friendly, and genuinely fun to be around. They made us feel welcome right away and truly went above and beyond to make the experience unforgettable.
There were so many wonderful touches throughout the tour, and the variety of snacks and beverages was fantastic. You could really tell how much thought and care went into every detail.
I honestly can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed this experience. It was one of those experiences our family will be talking about for a long time. We would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone looking for something fun, authentic, and truly special!

Great way to see the island
If you want see the sights and have the local knowledge this is a great way to do it. Carlos and Christine were wonderful host. They really gave us an appreciation for the sights but also everyday life on Crete.

Thanos and Christine were...
Thanos and Christine were amazing! They kept us entertained, were very knowledgeable about the local history, and were able to answer all our questions (especially about olive oil!). Thanos was a great driver and Christine showed us around all the good spots in Rethymno.

Day trip to Knossos, museum and Rethymno
Fantastic day trip to Knossos, museum and Rethymno. Christine and Thanassis were excellent guides. They were informative, knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. The ride to Knossos was long, but very comfortable and scenic. Boxed lunch was very good and they were always providing us with cold water and drinks. Thanks for a great day. I would highly recommend this tour!

An unforgettable and perfectly organized experienc
This tour was truly one of the highlights of our trip to Crete.
From my very first message to Christine, while I was still planning everything from Mexico, she was incredibly kind and helpful. She provided detailed information, researched other tours for us and shared many thoughtful recommendations.
On the day of the tour, Christine and our driver, Thanos, were wonderful. Throughout the journey, they told us fascinating stories about Crete and the region. They also made a special effort to engage my daughter and make the experience enjoyable for her, which was a detail I deeply appreciated.
At Knossos, they arranged for us to have a Spanish speaking guide named Maria, who was simply exceptional. She was knowledgeable, engaging and brought the history of Knossos to life in a way that made our visit truly memorable.
On the way back, Christine took us through beautiful Rethymno and even spent some time teaching us a little Greek, which was such a fun and personal touch.
Everything was perfectly organized and right on time. They also provided snacks and drinks throughout the day. More than just a tour, it felt like spending the day discovering Crete with thoughtful and knowledgeable local friends.
An absolutely wonderful experience from beginning to end. 10 out of 10. I could not recommend Christine, Thanos, Maria and SeaByBus Explore Crete more highly!

Knossos Palace tour
Christine and Thanos were wonderful hosts! They kept us entertained on the way to Heraklion. We learned about the history and culture of Crete and a little bit of the Greek language. The museum and palace are very impressive and worth visiting!

Perfect day trip from Chania port to Knossos Palace
Tour very well organized. Christine was a great guide, telling us a lot about Crete on the long drive embellished by slides and videos and answering our questions. The van was comfortable; the driver was friendly and professional and kept us stocked with cold waters. Providing good snack boxes was such a good way to maximize our time to see the sights and visit the most attractions on our time limited shore excursion. Would definitely use again.

We had an amazing private...
We had an amazing private tour to Knossos Palace from Chania, and it was one of the best experiences of our trip to Crete.
Christine was a fantastic guide! She is very knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about the history of Knossos and Crete. We learned so much and never felt rushed, and she was happy to answer all of our questions.
Our driver Thanos was incredibly kind, professional, and made the long drive comfortable and stress-free. We felt well taken care of from the moment we were picked up until we returned to Chania.
If you're thinking about visiting Knossos from Chania, I highly recommend this private tour. Having Christine and Thanos made all the difference! They were a wonderful team, and they helped make our day truly memorable. We would definitely do it again!

Fun and educational tour
I highly recommend a tour with Thanos and Christine. We learned so much about Crete culture and history and Minoan civilization. The ride to Heraklion from Chania was very comfortable as Christine shared with us about customs and traditions and food of Cretans. Most importantly, she was very receptive with all the questions. Great tour
Booked this private bus tour for my family and it was simply amazing. The driver and guide, Thanos and Christine, were very kind, polite and friendly. They took care of us all day and made sure We were comfortable the entire trip. The tour allowed us to see the ruins of Knossos, Museum, town of Rethymno and a local Oil factory. Everything was worth to be seen.
Can only recommend this tour operator and his team.
