北マケドニアのゴルノ・ネレジにある聖パンテレイモン教会は、修道院にある小さな12世紀のビザンチン教会です。教会と修道院は、医師の守護聖人である聖パンテレイモンに捧げられています。
マトカは、北マケドニアの中央スコピエの西に位置する渓谷です。約5,000ヘクタールに及ぶマトカは、マケドニアで最も人気のあるアウトドアの目的地の1つであり、中世の修道院がいくつかあります。マトカ渓谷内のマトカ湖は、国内で最も古い人工湖です。
1970年以来、博物館は1963年のスコピエ地震で大きな被害を受けた旧鉄道駅の改装された区画に入居している。 ほぼ無傷で残っていた建物の3分の1は、現在博物館本館となっている。 当館は4,500㎡を占め、2,000㎡が展示スペースとして割り当てられている。

It was good. The village was nice. However, the cross was not accessible, and the cave, honestly, I have seen much better.
Jimmy the tour guide spoke fluent English and was very knowledgeable on the history of Macedonia, we had ample time to visit the attractions and our requests were taken into account, a truly fascinating tour
This tour was amazing! The guide knew a lot to tell and also liked to have a chat. The people who also did the tour, were fun. I made friends here. It was really cool to see how many different origins there were and to capture this, a nice photo was taken. The air conditioning in the morning to early afternoon worked well. Only on the way back it was very hot because the bus was black and stood in the sun for quite a long time when we had been on the boat to Matka Canyon. That was my only downside. Furthermore, we were before to Etno Village and the church of St. Been Panteleimon. A very diverse and educational tour! This lasted half a day so I could still go to museums and eat quietly afterwards. I highly recommend this particular tour at this company!
Our guide, Vlad, was an excellent driver, a humourous guide, and extremely knowledgeable teacher. He shared many insights on the Macedonian history and culture, making the tour both enjoyable and educational. Highly recommended.
Olivia was our guide and was very informative. She gave us a lot of interesting information on our way to and from Matka Canyon. Matko canyon and the caves are beautiful and not to be missed. Olivia also gave us a lot of information on the Macedonian ruby when we were in Etno village.
This was the perfect half-day trip to escape the city and experience some of the beautiful nature around Skopje. Matka Canyon was stunning, and the cave visit was a real highlight. Our guide, Igor, was fantastic-friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole trip both informative and entertaining. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone who doesn’t have a lot of time but still wants to see some interesting and beautiful places outside the city.
We depart as a group of about 20 people from the National Museum. A fairly new minibus. The guide Naser, having worked many years in England, speaks a bit of slang English, and it was not easy to understand him, at least for us foreigners. First of all, I do not understand why they include the Millennium in the program when it has not been accessible for some time; I do not know why. You can only see the ethnic village, which I thought was original and reconstructed, but instead, it has only been newly built in recent years and hosts only souvenir shops, so it is of little interest to me. However, you can see a beautiful Orthodox church a little further away. Then the highlight is the boat trip with ten people along the canyon. You pay about 8 euros in advance, I believe, for the preservation of Nature and for the boat tour. The canyon is nice, but nothing special compared to others I have seen... You stop to eat at a restaurant by the shore and then return to Skopje with a journey of about 20 km.
We chose the half-day trip to Canyon Matka with Skopje Daily Tours and it turned out to be a fabulous experience -- not because the drive was easy or the place was beautiful -- but because our guide Igor Pavleski made the six hours together seem like time spent with a friend, discussing Skopje and North Macedonia's social, cultural, economic and political affairs. Igor is intelligent, perceptive and well-informed, and he helped us understand the region better. If North Macedonia is gaining recognition as an international destination, it's people like Igor who're making it happen. As for the canyon itself, it's pretty and the walking trail is a delight. The Vrelo Caves are worthy of a visit; though the stalagmites and stalactites aren't huge, the strategic lighting is a bonus.
Great tour, well organised, just enough time in each place, great value for money and all my questions beforehand were answered promptly. Knowledgeable, friendly guide would highly recommend for an afternoon.
This was a 5* experience. Our tour guide was fantastic and as a native Macedonian had a lot of knowledge about the country’s history, architecture and way of life. She answered all of our questions about where we were and was very passionate about her job. The tour itself was full of the best bits outside of Skopje city and we all had a great time!
