A great tour which allowed me to see the sights of Ubud and surrounding areas. My driver Wayan was very informative and helpful throughout the day. It was raining and Wayan would always get straight out of the car to put up the umbrella for me at each stop. He checked to see the order of places id like to visit and had plenty of time to see each one. I particularly enjoyed the waterfall, rice fields and coffee plantation. Complimentary water was provided!
My 34 years old memories of the Ubud rice terraces bear no resemblance to the present day Tegalalang Village. Nevertheless, the new sights which are obviously catered to tourists are as pleasing than any other attractions, including the zip line ride across the valley, the honeymooners’ swings, etc. Being that we came in the height of the monsoon season, the waterfall was sprouting muddy water, and the road leading to it filled with potholes…

Bayu, our driver, was very flexible with our plans and even gave us suggestions based on what we liked to see and what was in the area. He spoke great English and made us feel very comfortable on our trips. He also drove carefully and attentively, which made us feel safer in the Bali traffic. After our first day tour with him to Ubud, we were happy to continue our tours with him to Uluwatu and Mt Batur. He also gave us advice about our itinerary and we ended up moving some of our activities around which really helped us have a better trip overall! On our last day we opted for his transfer service from our hotel to the airport too, because he was reliable and on time for all of our tours.

Had an amazing time exploring Ubud thanks to Buyo and his team. We enjoyed having a local perspective as we explored Ubud - appreciated his local knowledge. Buyo was a great tour guide / safe driver and helped us better understand local customs so we would not be seen as rude tourists. We enjoyed visiting the Empul Temple, Kopi Plantation and eating Bebek (duck). Buyo’s team provided us with airport transportation to our accommodations in Ubud, day trip transportation to different sites, and transport back to the airport. Bali is an beautiful place and having an amazing driver who speaks English and laughs with us is the perfect addition to making a holiday extra special. We cant recommend our driver and Bali Sakti Tours more highly. He listened to what we wanted to do. And planned out an amazing day. He allowed us to dictate how long we stayed at places.
