Nice "nature day" to break up the tour of old towns and farms we had been on. Did not venture to the very bottom as parts of the paths can pose a challenge due to footing. Not the type of fall(s) we were there to see. We also visited a snack station which is a newer addition to the park. Great gelato!
I would highly recommend this trip. Very well organised and the guide was excellent (Natalie). Bit of a walk from the agency to the coach and it was a very popular trip. After an hours travelling you arrive at the village where the park entrance is. Here you have about 75 mins to explore and maybe get something to eat. You then get on a boat to go the waterfalls, this takes about 20 mins. You then walk around. Absolutely stunning. Beautiful views and whilst it was busy it wasn’t stopping you enjoying the views. A lovely boardwalk to get back to the boat, with enough time to get a drink or buy some souvenirs. Got the boat back and then the coach back to Zadar. With regard to the guide. She kept us fully informed via a WhatsApp group. Sending us pictures to ensure we were in the right place. She was extremely friendly and very helpful always making sure that never felt lost. She seemed to have a special ability to get us on the boat despite the queues. When you travel alone it’s always good to have a friendly and helpful guide. One bit of advice book directly at the agency.
Very easy & organised booking On the day of the trip it was really easy to meet up and make the connection with the bus. The guide (Karlo) introduced himself and gave very clear instructions as well as add each of us to a WhatsApp group so there was no doubt of what the plan was for the day throughout as well as share really interesting updates as we passed places. The lakes national park itself was just stunning and we loved it and it was organised as such that you had plenty of time to enjoy the walk, see the views and get a little rest on the way round. The lakes were beautiful! It was very hot, but walking under the trees gave some cooling and a lot of shade. It was of course very busy, because we were there in the middle of the high season. What we found unfortunate, however, was that the guide was so in step. Because he was constantly walking and we had to stay together as a group, there were almost no opportunities to take a nice picture. If you did, you'd almost have to run after it again. We had two stops of 25 minutes, if you had to go to the bathroom (in line), the time was almost over. The information went through the app, but while walking or resting we were not on it, so we only read the nice info afterwards on the bus back. I personally would rather walk through the park myself next time with my 3 children aged 16, 13 and 10. Who, by the way, walked along like stubborn, without whining. Except for the last 2 km, they were tough at that pace with the heat.

Super nice trip to Krka waterfalls. Natalie was the perfect host who got everyone with and to make the trip super exciting. With whatsapp it was easy to follow and ask questions.
Karlo was great, had lots of information and was always there, gave us access to a whatsapp group so we were constantly in touch, very helpful and very friendly
It was very nice, the park is awesome 🤩 but the walk was too quick to enjoy the landscape and we stopped too long several times : 1) before arriving at the park, we stopped a very long time at a restaurant. 2) inside the park, we stopped 1/2 hour. At the end, again 1/2 hour. I would prefer to walk slowlier to take pictures and enjoy the beautiful landscape of the park.
