My husband and adult son took his Tijuana food tour in early Sept 2026. All of the food stops were delicious starting with fresh mango that he perfectly spiced for us and ending with churros fried while we waited. We walked about 4 miles, so be ready. We are relatively fit and were fine with it. Most stops were street vendors with no seating. Bottom line, we were happy we took his tour.

Albert was an amazing guide and clearly has a deep passion for finding off-the-beaten-path food spots. The pre-departure information was detailed and incredibly helpful, and the meeting location was easy to find. What impressed me most was that none of the places we visited had any tourists. All of the local eateries were fantastic, and the entire experience felt thoughtfully curated rather than like a big, touristy production. Our walking tour with Albert Chan as our guide was an incredible experience from start to finish. This tour is the perfect mix of genuine travel, local culture, and real street food, taking you far from the typical tourist traps: The Sights: We explored a vibrant, amazing fresh-air market bursting with color and local life. The Eats: We sampled delicious, ultra-fresh ceviche, sweet local fruits, mouthwatering empanadas, and refreshing, authentic non-alcoholic drinks, as well as fresh made Churros! Albert was an outstanding guide—knowledgeable, friendly, and deeply attentive. He took great care of our group, ensured we felt completely comfortable and safe, and shared fascinating insights that made every stop feel special. Pro Tip: Definitely wear comfortable shoes, as there is plenty of walking involved, but it is 100% worth every step! 5 stars all the way—thank you, Albert, for an unforgettable food adventure!
