Nice outing. We are very happy that we chose the kayak trip and not for one of the many boats that sail back and forth. We were 6, two of whom were teenagers (16 and 19) and two children aged 6 and 7, who sat between us on the kayak. That went perfectly. From reception to departure kindly helped by the staff. The guide “Leo” takes his time to show you some fun caves, tell you some facts and is very helpful. The trip goes between and just under the rocks, narrow passages, ... but is not dangerous at any time only particularly fun to do. Even for the little ones. After that we can snorkel for a while and then in tow behind the motorboat for the way back.

Trip was ok. Kayaking was good. Foreshadowing started on arrival that snorkelling wouldn’t be happening. Wouldn’t be entering caves and wouldn’t be stopping at beaches. Therefore 3 of the 4 features of the activity were deleted. The trip was 90 minutes not the posted length. It was enjoyable but was not the trip we paid for. They stated rough seas as reason but I don’t personally feel I have ever seen the water on that coast line more calm. I feel the extra features were just click bait
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're glad you enjoyed the kayaking part of the tour, although we're sorry that the experience did not meet your expectations. As explained before the tour started, we informed all guests that, due to the sea conditions, the experience would be incomplete. We also offered everyone the choice to either reschedule for another day or receive a full refund. Several guests chose to move their booking to the following days, when conditions improved, but you decided to proceed with the tour. Our decisions were based entirely on safety and the quality of the experience. The snorkeling was cancelled because the water was not clear enough, meaning you would not have been able to see anything underwater. Stopping at the beach was not possible because the sea conditions made it unsafe to land. We also avoided entering the caves beyond Ponta da Piedade, as the southern side was experiencing rougher conditions, making cave entry unsafe. We respectfully disagree with the suggestion that these features are "clickbait." On our tours, we normally visit the caves, stop at the beach, and provide snorkeling whenever conditions allow. Unfortunately, the ocean does not always cooperate, and safety must always come first. Even when the sea may appear calm from the shore, local conditions such as swell, currents, and wave movement around the cliffs and caves can make certain areas dangerous, especially when there are children on board. Our priority has always been the safety of our guests. That is exactly why we were transparent about the limitations before departure and gave every guest the opportunity to reschedule or receive a refund instead of taking an incomplete tour. We appreciate your feedback and hope you will understand that these decisions were made solely to ensure everyone's safety.
We went kayaking with our 5 year old in between and we were very happy we did so! The guides were friendly and (probably even more important) knowledgeable. You can tell the safety of our group and even others was important to them. For us, this was a better choice than e.g. doing it on a speed boat, kayaking was the better adventure and we are very satisfied with how EZRide arranged it. 100% recommendable.

Ezride are a very friendly team who are loving what they're doing and going above and beyond to keep everyone happy and keep the family together. We had a great experience with them today. That's the best way to enjoy the beauty of the Algarve coastline. There is a supporting boat along the kayaks taking care of everyone and offering help if anyone has difficulties. That boat is towing all the kayaks on the way back which everyone was pleased about. Amazing team, fantastic experience!
