Viator cancelled both tours.
Don’t book this tour with Viator. Company is unreliable in Budapest. I booked it twice, and both times it was cancelled. Reasons: “some issues with logistics (???)”, and “sickness of the guide”. It seems that there is only one English speaking guide there available. Zero contingency in planning. The only good news is a speedy refund to my credit card.

We’re very sorry that your bookings were cancelled, especially on two separate occasions. We completely understand how frustrating that must have been, and we regret that we were unable to provide the tour you had booked.
We would, however, like to clarify that this does not mean we have only one English-speaking guide or that we have no contingency planning. We have a team of English-speaking guides, and when an unexpected situation such as illness occurs, we do our best to find a replacement at short notice. Unfortunately, this is not always possible, particularly when the cancellation happens close to the tour time.
We’re glad that your refunds were processed promptly, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused.

Andras was a great guide for the art nouveau tour! His English is perfect. This 1.5 hr tour was fun, interesting and informative! The architecture of Budapest is stunning and Andras made the buildings come alive with his stories of the architects and the inhabitants of many of the buildings. I highly recommend Andras and this tour!

Beautiful buildings shown by enthusiastic guide
A really fantastic tour today. I had done the general walking tour in the morning and really enjoyed it. When the guide mentioned the art nouveau tour I was excited as Ive really been enjoying the architecture in Budapest. Guide was knowledgeable and enthusiastic, as well as keen to give tips on places to go and eat after. I can't quite remember his name, maybe Endre?
