Tomas was phenomenal and we had such a wonderful tour - we visited several towns and side features such as the grotto and ceramic factory. Absolutely amazing! Tomas was so helpful and a joy to be with for our tour. Thank you!
Tommaso our driver was really great. Starting off he picked us up right on time to get an early start to help minimize the crowds. Our original plan was to visit Amalfi and Positano but after a little bit of the winding roads leaving Sorrento we decided to focus the trip just on Positano as we would visit Amalfi via boat separately. The van was very comfortable and Tomasso’s driving was fine but we can get car sick and I couldn’t see driving an hour like that. So instead we visited Positano for a couple hours and then Tomasso drove us to an olive oil factory for a tasting and lunch (Gargulio I believe was the name). The tasting was nice, the lunch food was good quality though a little expensive at 190 EUR for two adults and two children. Otherwise the 5 or so hours we spent with Tomasso was very good and I would recommend his service to others.
Lovely visit to Positano and Amalfi. Tommaso was excellent driver with great facts and knowledge of the places we visited. An excellent half day trip to the Amalfi coast.
Tommaso was wonderful. Six longtime friends took the half-day coast tour from our cruise port of Sorrento in Tommaso’s roomy Mercedes SUV. He was very communicative with messages ahead of our visit, such that we had no issues making connection on the pier the morning of our tour. Amalfi & Positano were very crowded with tourists the weekend we ended up being there, so having Tommaso there to get us through all of that was a godsend. Then at the end of the half-day, he was able to get us lunch reservations at a great local place in the heart of Sorrento - pizza with wonderful homemade limoncello!
We learned the hard way to NOT rent a car in the Amalfi Coast! On our girl’s trip journey, we met the most amazingly kind and patient Italian gentleman, Tommaso, who saved us in our time of distress. On his day off, he agreed to drive us to our next destination. Boy, did we feel blessed, he is a first class tour advisor who knows the roads and the lay of the land. We felt safe on the twisty, cliff roads with large raging buses, buzzing vespas, and aloof pedestrians coming our way and got to enjoy the most beautiful scenery and Italian culture! He also kept us educated and entertained with his witty and charming personality! Tommaso is the best of the best, and you will think so too!
Tommaso was a joy to spend the day with! Not only was he a good driver, but he was knowledgeable and personable! We toured the Amalfi Coast, had a great visit to Amalfi, stopped off at The Emerald Grotto, a ceramics shop and a fun olive oil tasting! He spoke great English and was super nice! I would highly recommend touring with him!
Tomaso picked four of us up at our location in Sorrento and drove us to Positano, Amalfi, and Ravello, and back to Sorrento. After hearing about the challenge of driving in the Amalfi coast, we certainly experienced this today. There is no way we would have enjoyed the area without Tomaso. The traffic in the area is extremely congested, and Tomaso has 28 years experience driving the winding roads through the coastal area. Not only that, he made us a reservation at one of the most beautiful locations in Ravello, and the entire day was fantastic. From 8:00-4:30, we had the best time, we couldn't imagine visiting so effortless without Tomaso. On top of all that, the weather was not ideal with occasional light rain, so again, not a place where someone not familiar with the roads and complex driving conditions. We all highly recommend Tomaso, he will make the trip memorable.
Thomas was a good driver. We felt safe in his vehicle. Also very knowledgeable about the area. He shared interesting stories and facts with us. The restaurant he took us to for lunch was amazing. Off the beaten track and next to a church. Fabulous views. Not overcrowded and really good food. Glad we included Rivello. The best part of our trip. This company is highly recommended.
