The cooking class at Bella Sorrento is definitely worth it! We cooked calzones, meatballs, eggplant parmesan, ravoli and a chocolate cake. Gennaro and Sarah were great teachers! The space was large ans easy to work in, and beautifully decorated. It was such a fun evening for all the participants. We highly recommend it.

Fantastic experience! It was nice to have breaks between cooking courses. They also made it a good environment to meet other people. The food was deliciously made with garden fresh ingredients. We learned a lot of skills passed down from the family from the attentive chefs.

An Amazing Experience in Sorrento! Bella Sorrento Cooking School was truly one of the highlights of our trip to Italy! The morning of our class, Sorrento was dealing with a major water outage, and all of the town was without running water. Despite something completely beyond their control, the team at Bella Sorrento handled everything amazingly. They quickly made sure they had plenty of bottled water so our private class could still go on as planned. We were so grateful! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed. They even offered us coffee—which was especially appreciated since the water outage meant we couldn’t find coffee anywhere else that morning! 😂 We started with mimosas and a delicious meat and cheese tray before getting to work in their beautiful kitchen. We made so much from scratch: chocolate almond cake, fresh pasta and ravioli, eggplant parmigiana, meatballs, fried pizza, and crispy strips made from the leftover dough. I especially loved learning that their fresh pasta was made without eggs—just flour, salt and hot water. It was delicious! Afterward, we sat down and enjoyed everything we had prepared together with a wonderful bottle of wine. It felt less like a typical tourist activity and more like being welcomed into an Italian kitchen and sharing a meal together. The entire experience was fun, relaxed, hands-on and incredibly memorable. Their hospitality and ability to make our experience special even with the unexpected water emergency really impressed us. If you’re visiting Sorrento and looking for an authentic Italian cooking experience, Bella Sorrento Cooking School is absolutely worth adding to your trip. We would do it again in a heartbeat! We had a wonderful cooking class with Sara and Genarrio (sorry if misspelled!) Upon arriving, they immediately made us feel welcomed into their kitchen. Their garden is absolutely beautiful and we used all ingredients directly from it to cook! We ended up making calzones, eggplant parmesan (the best we had all trip!), raviolis, meatballs, fish, and a delicious chocolate orange cake. All the food was fantastic but the experience was even better. We had the best time with them, they even seemed to enjoy the time they spent with us as well, as we spent an hour after cooking just talking and connecting. We laughed, we cried, and we made delicious food. One of our favorite days on our trip and would HIGHLY recommend to anyone. We could’ve spent all day with them, and truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Grazie Sara e Genarrio, ricorderemo sempre l'ottimo cibo e la compagnia meravigliosa! Si, Chef!!!

My daughter and I had such a wonderful experience at this cooking class! It was so much more than just learning a few recipes—it felt like being welcomed into an Italian family's kitchen. We prepared several traditional Italian dishes using authentic family recipes that have been passed down through generations, and you could really taste the love and history behind every dish. The instructors were warm, patient, and passionate about sharing not only the techniques but also the stories behind the recipes. Everything was hands-on, well organized, and easy to follow. Sharing the meal we created together at the end was the perfect way to finish the experience. I left with new cooking skills, delicious recipes, and a much deeper appreciation for authentic Italian cuisine. I would absolutely recommend this class to anyone who loves food, wants to learn traditional Italian cooking, or is looking for a memorable experience. It was one of the highlights of my trip!

We had a blast doing the cooking experience! The chefs were very friendly and heartwarming. Each dish was very easy to make, and they guided us through every step of the way. The hospitality was impeccable! This was by far the highlight of our visit to Sorrento

We thoroughly enjoyed our cooking class and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. It ended up being just my husband and me, which made the experience feel incredibly personal and special. Gennaro and Sarah were wonderful chefs who were patient, knowledgeable, and made the class both fun and engaging. They taught us how to prepare several delicious dishes while sharing helpful techniques and local culinary traditions along the way. We especially appreciated that they sent us the menu and recipes afterward so we can recreate everything at home. This was one of the highlights of our trip, and we left with full stomachs, great memories, and new cooking skills.

This was by far one of my favorite experiences of our Italy trip. Our chef was so knowledgeable and incredibly helpful. It was super fun getting to know her and the story behind this company. My husband and I had such a great time that I’ll cherish forever. Highly highly recommend!

Me and my wife had such an amazing time! We had so much food that was served that we could barely eat it all! It was all so delicious and we were able to make almost all of it! Our chefs were very helpful with teaching us how to cook it all and were helpful when it came to taking pictures of us during the experience. We also had a nice family cooking with us that was also doing the experience. Talking with them was fun and allowed there to be a nice family aspect to the cooking. Again, the food was so good and we couldn’t have been happier. A note to those coming after us, it is a lot of food, so make sure to eat light during the day so that you can eat more that night! I wish I had did that so I could have eaten more of the delicious food we made! Each of the courses was amazing and the chocolate cake at the end was perfect. We had such a great time and would recommend it it others as well.

Vacation for our anniversary in Sorrento. We absolutely loved the cooking class! It ended up just being the two of us. We learned so much and enjoyed an amazing meal! Highly recommend!
