A great tour to see a different side of the city while being taught about each type of food. Diego was very informative guide and he inriched each visit to the locations included.

We enjoyed our half day food tour with Diego. Diego was a good guide. He was knowledgeable and friendly. We enjoyed talking with him about life in Columbia. The views were spectacular from both restaurants that we stopped at El Zarzal and The Eighth Wonder. It was fun trying a variety of local street food with a guide who could explain a bit about the traditions and history.

Everything was perfect! Juan Carlos was a perfect match for us (2 US 30-year-old males). This was our 1st full day in Medelin. Not only were the food and tour amazing, but he also made recommendations where to venture out on our own and fun places to watch FIFA and Columbia. Highly recommend this tour and hope you're lucky enough to be paired with Juan Carlos.

Our driver was courteous and knowledgeable. The tour took us all around Medellin and we ate at different local restaurants. Excellent introduction to local food. The timing was perfect. Highly recommend.

What an incredible experience, don’t think twice on booking this tour, perfect mix of food tour and viewpoints of the city, Medellín is magical, but more magical it’s sitting down and looking at the mountains, landscapes, the greenery in every corner, immersed in a jungle, a city hidden in a valley, and you can only experience thi from a high point of a mountain and these guys know where to take you, every spot was unique, even Sabaneta City, Luisa our wonderful guide explained every tasting we had, all amazing, we were already full at the 5th, that we were worried about the next 5-6 tastings, but we wanted to try them all, afortunatelly we did! Very well recommended!!"

If you want to understand the history of Colombia and have fun doing it, Juan Carlos is your guide. We did two private tours with Juan Carlos in February - Dark History and a Food Tour. The first he gave a history-focused and balanced account of the narco period of Medellin's history which gave me a new appreciation for the city. Tons of interesting stops, the highlight being an escobar museum in a local neighborhood. Then on the food tour (which was fun in itself), at our request he gave us another amazing history of the country's internal conflict and social and economic resurgence, the people involved and how different perspectives shape differing opinions in Colombia. His English was very very good and he was gracious at sharing about his own life and perspective. We felt like we understood and appreciated Colombia better after his tours highly recommended.

Diego our guide very attentive, we really liked the activity, the food and especially the views. Although it rained we could enjoy the view of The Eighth Wonder.

This tour combines food tasting with panoramic views of Medellin and the surrounding area. Diego was our guide and proved to be very knowledgeable and personable. The food we tasted was authentic to the area and covered a lot of ground. One piece of advice: Be careful not to eat too much early in the tour to save room for later. We enjoyed the food along with Diego's insights into the culture and history of Medellin. We highly recommend the tour.
