I persuaded my husband to join me on this block printing day, he was somewhat reluctant but thoroughly enjoyed it. The moment we arrived we were welcomed by the owner who was very friendly and chatted to us about the history of the company, how they got through the trials of Covid, the business process and the need to maintain the lovely old historic house as a retail space, an organic roof top garden and a space for the block printing workshop. The process of block printing was explained to us and we were helped by a very helpful and skilled man. After sometime practicing with a variety of blocks and colours we had the opportunity to make our own apron, shawl and tote bag. Following this we were served a delicious lunch before our now dry creations were packed up for us to take home. If you have time when in Jaipur we would highly recommend this memorable experience. Thank you to all the staff and family who made this such a great day.

What a fantastic experience block printing was. Expert help by our masterji. Wonderful samosas too and hospitality. I only took one star away because my mum asked for help with one thing on her scarf and then the masterji didn’t let her finish anything else herself. So she was a little bit disappointed. Highly recommend

My friend and I loved block printing @NAAV! It was my first time doing block printing and the instructor patiently guided me all the way. At the workshop, I made a tote bag that I gifted my mom! She was ecstatic. Moreover, the food at the workshop was delicious! Highly recommend this activity.

I recently attended a block print class at NAAV in Jaipur, and it was an extraordinary experience from start to finish! The studio was very charming and full with traditional textiles, which set a perfect backdrop for the class. Master ji is a skilled artisan with a deep passion for block printing, and his expertise really shone through. Great class! 😍
