Giuliana was a phenomenal tour guide! She was very informative and full of great energy. Would highly recommend a private tour. We saw all the best places in Kefalonia and enjoyed a delicious meal at Agia Efimia.
Kefalonia - a beautiful island. Beautiful nature, wonderful beaches. Myrtos beach is a must. If you are lucky to find it without waves, you will see a miracle :) To reach the most part of the beaches, you should drive for nearly 30-60 min by car. Advice...visit Assos with sunlight and Fiscardo by night...wonderful places.
Came for a weeks holiday and hired a car for 3 days. When we come here again it will be for a longer period and perhaps hire a car for 5 days. we seen quite a lot in 3 days but wish we had spent more time in some places , such a wonderful place the views are out of this world. Some roads have no barriers up high in the mountains , but as long as your not stupid and take your time the views are priceless . Most Roads up in the mountains can be very quite and most roads have enough room for two cars to pass.
i wanted to take 2 tours from this company and i called stampo the owner a few times she said everthung is o.k and booked in/ i called her one week before we came and just then she told methat oneof trips was cancelled. i got the information just when i called her- so strange i got a bad feeling and when i got to the island i decided not to do the other tour too because i had a feeling that the company is not working good or sirious' not the way it allways happenes. i travel a lot and never had such a bad feeling cheak well....
Dear Mrs Levron Do you think that is honest of your side , after so many calls that you have done us a month before your arrival in the island , after my wish to meet you at the Thalassa hotel that you were staying upon your arrival and after so many times that i have confirmed your partcipation in both of our excursions and after that you have cancelled your paricipation in both tours because you have found and you wanted to partcipate in other group from your country and with another company to write such a comment so easily in public for my bussiness??? I agree with you that it is really stange and i feel so sorry for this Regards Stamo Manolatou
we purchased our excursion from the young lady who ended up being our guide from Avalon Travel Services. She was very knowledgeable and was able to provide lots of information on St George castle and the St Andres monastery. I am not a wine buff but the family operated Divino Winery was the best ! I purchased red wine and balsamic vinegar.
<p>We had a great time on the tour seeing all the main sights that Kefallonia has to offer. Our tour had extensive knowledge of the island including the history. <br/> There were some amazing photo opportunities- thank you!</p>
