Thank you for your lovely feedback! We’re so happy to hear you enjoyed a great day trip with Valerio along with hidden gems and dining experiences.
We actually did two tours with this company, Rome in Golf Cart. Both tours were wonderful. The the tour guides were knowledgeable and fun to be with. I Highly recommend this company!
Thank you so much for your kind words and for choosing to tour with us twice! We’re thrilled to hear you enjoyed both experiences and that our guides made them fun and informative. We truly appreciate your recommendation and hope to see you again on your next visit to Rome!
Kalipo was awesome. His delivery of his knowledge of Rome didn't feel like a history lesson. It was a highlight of our trip. Although the excursion included gelato, the clerk asked one of the group members for payment for the 6 of us, which he paid.
Thank you so much for your kind words! We’re delighted to hear that Kalipo made your tour such a fun and memorable highlight of your trip. His way of sharing knowledge and stories really does bring Rome to life in an engaging way.
Great experience full of information. Pleasant and enjoyable open air golf cart tour. It got to be the best way to see the whole tour.
Thank you so much for your kind words! We’re so glad to hear you had such a pleasant and enjoyable experience on the open-air golf cart tour. It really is one of the best ways to take in the city comfortably while learning so much along the way.
I must say that this tour exceeded all of my expectations! This was suggested by the Orient Express La Minerva concierge to explore the more local side of Rome since we have been tourists in the Eternal City many times. Daniele made this tour special! He was the most knowledgeable tour guide that we have had. He intricately weaved history, lore, anecdotes, culture into sights off the beaten path. His friendly demeanor and sense of humor were refreshing, and his connections to local vendors made for special tastings. We truly got the “flavor” of Rome from a local. Don’t be put off by the concept of a golf cart tour; this is THE vehicle to get one through the narrow alleys in this ancient city. We cannot recommend this tour enough! Good luck Daniele in your forthcoming nuptials to a Sicilian; I have been married to one for 41 years! Bellisimo e molto bene!
Thank you so much for this incredible review! We’re absolutely delighted to hear that your concierge at La Minerva recommended us and that your experience with Daniele exceeded all expectations. His passion for weaving together history, culture, anecdotes, and local connections truly makes every tour unique, and we’re so glad you enjoyed exploring Rome from a more local perspective.
We just finished our tour with Pietro and it was amazing. It’s our last day in Rome so we had already been to many of the sites but Pietro was so knowledgeable that it felt like seeing them for the first time. He was full of historical knowledge, funny stories and personal anecdotes about growing up in Rome. Our kids said it was the best tour they did after 2 weeks in Europe. We had delicious food at a market we would have never seen on our own. I’m a travel agent and will be recommending this tour to anyone coming to Rome. We will definitely do another tour with Pietro when we come back to Rome.
Thank you so much for your wonderful feedback! We’re thrilled that Pietro made your last day in Rome so special and memorable for the whole family. His passion for the city and storytelling really brings the sights to life. It means a lot coming from a travel agent, and we truly appreciate your recommendation. We look forward to welcoming you and your family back for another amazing tour with Pietro next time!
Valerio was amazing! Such a fun and informative tour. We covered so much ground in just four hours. In the June heat the golf cart tour was definitely the way to go. We had a group of six and fit comfortably on the cart. Our time at the market indulging in vino and local cuisine was a highlight of our time together. Highly recommend!
Thank you so much for your wonderful feedback — we’re so happy to hear you had an amazing time with Valerio! He truly loves sharing Rome’s history, flavors, and hidden corners with our guests. We’ll be sure to pass along your kind words to Valerio. Hope to welcome you and your group back to Rome soon for another unforgettable ride.
