Prabhat was an excellent tour guide. Professional, informative, and friendly, his love for his hometown of Jodhpur is infectious. He is one of the best tour guides we’ve ever had, in India or elsewhere. Together, we did a morning heritage walking tour of the old city, as well as a daylong guided tour of Rao Jodha Park, the Fort, Jaswant Thada, Mandore Gardens, and Umaid Bhawan Palace. Prabhat shared his favorite chai stands, sweet shops, and other landmarks that gave the tour a personal touch, allowing us to foster a more meaningful connection between us and the beautiful city of Jodhpur. This walking tour was superb! Prabhat was an excellent guide. His English vocabulary is very impressive, as is his knowledge and passion for Jodhpur and this area's history. I highly recommend Jodhpur Heritage Walk. During my visit to Jodhpur around Diwali 2023, I received an amazing full day guided tour of the city and surrounding area. From the morning two-hour guided walking tour of much of the Old City to the visit to Mehrangarh Fort, the Jaswant Thada, and Umaid Bhawan Palace, Jodhpur Heritage Walk’s made the visit all the more memorable! My guide Brapat was both knowledgeable and personable throughout the day. He explained the history of the places we visited with the skill of a seasoned professional. My visit to the Blue City—and Jodhpur Heritage Walk’s role in facilitating it—has been one of the genuine highlights of my time in India. I cannot recommend this tour company enough!
