Rahul was the best! He was extremely passionate and knowledgeable. He was also very accommodating when I had to change the timing of my tour fairly last minute. Really appreciate it. Felt safe as a solo female traveller and he was very attentive already pointing out where to watch my step / head.

Thank you so much for your review and your kind words, dear Jessica. It was a pleasure sharing the treasures of my beloved city with you. Of course, I always try to make you feel at home; you are my guests in Varanasi, and sometimes that also means adapting to your needs and last-minute changes. Sometimes, this city can be a bit challenging for a first-time visitor. It's a beautiful city but also very chaotic and bustling, so it's part of my job to make everyone who arrives feel at home, cared for, and safe, and to enjoy their stay to the fullest. I'm so glad you had nice experience and that I helped make it so. See you soon!

Amazing tour
We had a great tour and saw amazing things. Our guide took the time to show us around and took the time to explain all and answer our questions.
The tour was 3-4 hours but we spent 6 hours including lunch. Highly recommended.

Super experience, a memory we will never forget
We had a great day. It was 3 to 4 hours but in the end it was 6 hours including lunch.
Our tour guide took the time to shows us old Varanasi and explained everything into details. This tour is so much better than the highlights of Varanasi. Great guy. Thanks again for a wonderfull day.

Excellent experience to get to know Varanasi in depth
I have to say that it was one of the best experiences in Varanasi to be able to get to know the city raw. His lifestyle, walking his streets, smelling his aromas, feeling his way of life. Raul has also given excellent explanations, I have to say much better than other guides with more years. He explains in detail the cremation process of the bodies and the way of living of the people of Varanasi since Raul is from there and his family has many generations living in Varanasi. In short, an excellent guide, an unforgettable experience, much better than other tours I hired. I have to make it clear that I'm traveling alone and there's no way to do this on your own. I felt safe and cared for on this tour.

An immersive walk in Varanasi ancient city
This is a really authentic and immersive walking tour inside the sacred city of Varanasi. We had a 4 hours walk with Rahul, who Is really a great expert of Varanasi history and traditions. I cannot say how many questions he answered me, giving a complete and clear explanation of such complex subjects such as cremations and hindu mythology. Moreover, Rahul really took care of us, guiding us in a very comprehensive and intense tour of the ancient city, showing both the ghats and the temples. This is a highly recomended experience, both for the beauty of the city and for the professionality of the guide.

Incredible immersive stroll around Varanasi.
We were two enjoying an incredible 4-hour tour with Rahul around Varanasi’s main attractions.
Not only we stopped at the well-known “gaths” but Rahul also shared with us Varanasi’s historical roots linked with the history of Hinduism.
Rahul is highly educated and patient with great English skills.
If you’re in town, do not hesitate to stroll around with him.

Thank you very much, dear friend, for your review and your kind words. I also really enjoyed the time we shared together. Showing Varanasi is my job but also it is my vocation, it is something that comes from my heart and that I love to do. This is my hometown and I know it like the back of my hand, all its corners, its secret gems, its traditions, its rituals, its stories and legends. There is still a lot for you to see and I will love to share it with you when you come back...

Thank you very much for your review and your kind words, my friend. It was a pleasure for me to share with you the beauty of my beloved city. Varanasi has a lot to see and discover, with hidden gems around every corner and alley. But it is also very easy to get lost in its narrow streets and feel overwhelmed by the bustle of traffic, the coming and going of pilgrims, tourists and locals, so letting yourself be guided and accompanied by a local guide is a guarantee of making your stay in the city a unique experience and get the most out of every minute and enjoy it to the fullest. See you soon.

Must do walking tour, you won't regret it!!!!!
When we were looking to book a walking tour in Varanasi we wanted one that was going to provide a holistic view of Varanasi, including its history and culture rather than a tourist sightseeing trip. When we booked this trip and met Rahul we knew we had made the right decision. Rahul has over 20 years' experience sharing his cultural with visitors and seemed to know instantly what our interests were. Rahul provided us an extensive insight and understanding into the local history and the importance of life and death. It was a full-on tour and we absorbed so much information. I highly recommend this walking tour and Rahul as a tour guide. Thank you for sharing your culture with us, it was a privilege to meet you.

Thank you very much for your review and kind words, Sarah.
Deciding to book a guided walking tour of the ancient city of Varanasi is always the best way to get a more complete and holistic impression of the city, its culture, customs, rituals and stories. Additionally, there are many hidden corners among the maze of alleys that are difficult to find and very easy to get lost. And some places are only accessible if you go in the company of a local guide so I also strongly recommend that all visitors be accompanied by an experienced local guide... Thank you very much for everything, it was also a privilege for me to meet you.
Namastè,
