We spent a day with Tony and Jono from Discva tours. From the moment we got in the vehicle Tony talked about the history of the city, the places we were headed to and answered our many questions patiently. It was an intense history lesson but oh so interesting. We visited the sultans palace, summer palace, temples, puppet makers and of course Borobudur. Had a delicious lunch too. The bonus for us, was they were delightful company. Jono drove us everywhere skilfully and safely. I highly recommend this tour.

We had a great day with Ardi, who led us to the 2 temples from Yogja. We thought we hired a driver but it turned out that Ardi speaks very good English and is very interesting, which allowed us to discuss a lot of things during all the trips. We strongly advise you to use his services, he was great and left us all the time we wanted. He even made us stops buying souvenirs and coffee, and helped book our massage for the evening. Mr. Ardi is a very reliable and courteous travel guide. Through him we enjoyed an unforgettable day at the temples Borobudur and Prambanan. Great tour at Borubudur and Prambanan temple. Ardi was really super since we discussed by w-app before our tour. He supported us buying outr tickets for Borubudur in advaced. Everything went perfect. He was a perfect driver and during the trip we enjoyed a lot discussing about Indonesian culture, food and so on. Amazing day tour at Borubudur, Prambanan, We also went to a coffe factory to taste the luwak coffe and we had a typical lunch in a warong. We really reccomend to contact him when you plan to visit Yogya.

We had a great day out with our guide Damar. He picked us up perfectly on time from our hotel at 3.30am and after visits to Setumbu, Borobudur, and Merapi dropped us off in the evening at Semarang. A super fun tour done with Ardi to the Merapi Volcano, Borobudur & Prambanan. He picked us up at 3:00 in the morning, and we've been out all day. First at a great viewpoint of the volcano, where we were the only tourists to see the sun rise. Then also visited the temples. Ardi gives a lot of information, you will not be bored for a moment. Everything was very well arranged, we can definitely recommend Ardi! For other tours or information he can also help very well! Thank you!

Ardy was an exceptional tour guide, he knows a lot about the temples that we visited. All the temples are amazing. Ardy also is a really kind person and he speaks english aswell.

My wife and I spent 2 great days with Ardi visiting the cultural sights around Yogyakarta (Borobudur, Prambanan etc.), tasting the local food and learning about the history, culture and life in Central Java. From our initial contact he was extremely helpful, listening to what we wanted to see and offering various suggestions and ideas on how we can best achieve it within our time frame, and gave advice on hotel prices and areas in which to stay. From first meeting him at the airport we both found Ardi very friendly and easy to get on with, and by the time we left the carpark we were chatting like good friends. Our tour was great and more than just taking us to see things, Ardi explained to us the history and significance of each sight, what the art meant and how these incredibly beautiful and unique sights, making them all the more fascinating to see and experience. Ardi also took us to some great local food spots to try some local dishes (Nasi Goreng, Martabak, Luwak coffee), and was happy to cater to my wife, who is vegetarian, so she could also try the (very delicious) food. With Ardi you get a tour guide that is really enthusiastic about his work and his energy is extremely contagious. He cares about the other people involved in the tourism industry and tries to ensure all the activities included work both for the tourists and the locals, which is always appreciated. And he makes sure you have a great time filled with fun, laughter and genuine experiences. When we left him at the airport it was like saying goodbye to a good friend.
