We had a great time with Thalles - a cool guy, connected to nature and super friendly. We felt safe at all times on the way to Christ the Redeemer. Definitely worth booking through Rio Natural.

The hike up to Christ the Redeemer was amazing. My guide was very knowledgeable and was able to point out a couple of sloths in the trees! Going early in the morning was great as it was not too hot. The crowds were sort of big once we made it to the statue but no lines (probably bc it is the off season). Highly recommend!

We made the hike to the Christ statue with our guide Leo. We were picked up at our accommodation in the morning. Great consideration was given to everyone involved and the pace was adjusted accordingly. We had the opportunity to see different species of animals and plants and were given a lot of information about all the details along the way and at the statue. We had a great time and felt very comfortable! It was a lot of fun.

Tour guide was super helpful, provided info about the hike, the animals, history and provided snacks. He also took great pictures of me a top of cheist the redeemer, I had a great time and will definitely do this hike again solo!

I'm a pretty slow hiker, and my guide Jaime was incredibly gracious with the fact that my pace probably added an hour or so to the round-trip time. He also had an excellent ear and eye for local wildlife, often pointing out toucans or monkeys in the trees along our route, which really added to my enjoyment.

There was a safe experience with a guide - as recommended for safety reasons - on the trek up through the forest to Cristo Redentor. But the guide offered almost no information about anything along the way, and nothing on top about the Christ statue

We had an incredible time! Our guide Didi was knowledgeable and friendly, and offered us lots of recommendations for Rio along the way! The hike took us less than 2 hours on the way up and about an hour and a half on the way down.

Visiting the sights was an amazing experience! We took a lot of pictures. The guide Bernardo was very receptive, attentive and guided us with excellence on our tour.

I had an absolutely fantastic experience hiking to Christ the Redeemer with my guide Paulo in May. This was hands down one of the highlights of my trip! What made this special: Skip the crowds: • By hiking instead of taking the usual public transportation, we completely avoided the tourist masses on the way to and from and monument and had a much more peaceful, authentic experience Incredible nature: • The hike took us through beautiful forest where we spotted monkeys and amazing birds. Paulo was incredibly knowledgeable about the local wildlife and plants, turning the journey into an educational nature walk Convenient service: • Paulo picked me up directly from my Airbnb and dropped me off afterward - no hassle with logistics Perfect duration: • The entire experience lasted about 6 hours, which felt just right Paulo was an excellent guide who really enhanced the experience with his knowledge of the local ecosystem. If you're looking for a more adventurous and less crowded way to visit Christ the Redeemer while learning about Rio's incredible biodiversity, I highly recommend this hiking tour. Highly recommended for: Nature lovers, hikers, anyone wanting to avoid the crowds on the way up and down, and travelers interested in learning about local wildlife.

All round was excellent experience, one which I would recommend for anyone looking for a moderate hike level of energy in an exceptional place
