We only had two days in New York and this 6hr walking tour ticked all our tourist boxes! Pat was a great tour guide. Went on the 6 hour NYC tour today with my wife. Our guide, Pat, gave us so much history that I was overwhelmed(in a good way). He was not only knowledgeable, he was compassionate with his history lesson. He took us here, there and everywhere. He knew where the rest stops were, the best lunch spots and everything in between. It turned out better than I expected. We ended up going over by half an hour and I felt like he could have took us around for hours more. The whole 9/11 event was much more in person than any documentary I had watched. Highly recommend this tour. Make sure you have comfortable shoes, you’ll need them! Decent amount of walking and seems to cover all the main Manhattan sights . Roger was an outstanding friendly entertaining and knowledgeable host (Great Picture taking skills too!)
Roger was an enthusiastic storyteller and a generally friendly person. He answered all of our questions on the tour and even though it was a very hot day, he was good about keeping us in the shade as much as possible. And he offered to take photos of us at every tour stop, which was nice. The tour is a great introduction to NYC!
Our tour guide, ROGER, was the absolute best! He is a native New Yorker and very informative. We toured ALL of the top spots while taking pictures for us. Although we walked 10 miles, he was patient and catered to our every need! I would 1000% recommend this tour to everyone visiting NYC for the first time!
A lot of ground covered on the walk taking 5 hours and tour finished with an hour ferry ride to Statten Island and back. This boat trip is on the free commuter ferry with a few thousand other people. Not really " a boat cruise". Our guide was knowledgeable and pleasant. The trip back to our hotel from the Port was via the subway which worked well.
Roger made the tour absolutely awesome. He was a joy to be around — full of energy, engaging, and clearly invested in making the experience worthwhile. He was very informative and knowledgeable at each stop, and he treated everyone in our group with courtesy and care. We had 10 people from three different families, and Roger kept the pace comfortable while making sure no one missed anything. Well done, Roger, and thank you for helping us create new family memories.
