Well planned and very thoughtful tour guide. Ainars was an absolutely awesome guide that always was one step ahead. He was very thoughtful and ensured my elderly mom and dad ages 85&80 were always taken care of and shown the best possible experience. The driver spoke no English and it took over an hour and a half to get to our destination one way but on the way back he took the highway and it took 30 minutes. It was a horrible experience.

It’s true that his English is not perfect, but he is generally able to communicate well. According to him, he wanted to offer you a more scenic route along the coast, as this trip is all about discovering the beauty of the French Riviera. He thought it would enhance your experience. Perhaps he should have explained this better — and for that, we sincerely apologize. However, it’s not entirely clear from your review why the overall experience was so negative. You mentioned the journey took longer on the way there compared to the highway on the return — but wasn’t the slower, coastal drive part of the sightseeing experience? We would really appreciate if you could share more details with us, so we can fully investigate what happened. Edward took us to many beautiful locations after we got off our cruise ship in Monte Carlo. We filled up the entire day going from Monte Carlo to our hotel in Nice.
