This night-time photography tour wit Eva in Florence was absolutely excellent. Exploring the city after dark gave it a completely different atmosphere, and the locations we visited were stunning. The guide was knowledgeable, patient, and gave really helpful tips for night photography, no matter your skill level. I came away with some of my favorite photos from my entire holiday. I’d highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Florence, especially if you enjoy photography.

Eva was wonderful and our family learned so much! Eva took my husband and two sons on the tour. She adjusted her instructions to each person's level of expertise and type of camera and lens (beginner to more advanced levels). She even reviewed mobile phone nighttime photography settings which was quite helpful. She was very accommodating, knowledgeable and had a great personality. Everyone came home with beautiful nighttime photos of Florence and a lot more knowledge about the intricacies of nighttime photography. We would not hesitate to book again and would look at some of the other classes Eva offers as well. Thank you Eva!

Eva was such a great teacher and so very informative but still fun. I learned more about my phone’s camera and how to use the built in functions. I simply had a wonderful time.

What a fun adventure! Touring Florence after dark provided a whole new perspective on the city. Plus Eva was great and I learned a lot about taking photos. I would highly recommend Eva and this tour.

My wife and I spent four hours with Eva in the evening and night photography. She took us to some of the famous as well as hidden germs of Florence. She was very knowledgeable not only in photography, but also in the role as a local guide. The most fabulous moment was the blue hour after sunset. The change in sky colours with the Doumo was just amazing. I highly recommend the guide trip to people who want to explore more about photography in the evening and night.

I loved it. Eva explained how to use the camera, its many functions, the architectural history of what I was photographing, and why those sites are significant for both photography and appreciating Florence. As a novice photographer, I found Eva’s guidance motivating and inspiring.

I had booked this months in advance. Was looking forward to seeing Florence for the first time. I was staying in a town that is 50 minutes away, and drove into Florence just to do this excursion. Unbeknownst to me, the tour operator was meeting us at a place that you cannot drive to. So we were driving around and around and around in circles only to find out that we have to park the car and walk there for 30 minutes for us to meet her. No such instruction was given, and we ended up just wasting hours trying to get to her. We never got to meet our tour guide, I asked her if she can reschedule for the day after, she said she has no time. But I asked her if we can cancel, she said we cannot, she said that she didn’t realize that we were driving. so we just ended up, wasting our time, money, energy, and the experience of Florence. Had there been clearer instructions, I would have known. Terrible.

Eva was great. She showed us ways of getting the best out of architectural images and took us to some key places to photograph in the best light, and showed us some unusual compositions that are out of the ordinary, as well as suggestions for what to do next when photographing on our own. She summarised the key 'learning points' and suggested how to make the best of our images when we got home. Shame it was so short. Perhaps another time I would book for longer session.
