Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic about military history. He made some really great recommendations on further reading and understanding of the battle.
Thank you very much and my pleasure showing these iconic places of the Band of Brothers experience.
Jip is a great tour guide and driver. He drove my wife and I from Amsterdam to Bagstone. We had a great tour and discussion during the drive from military to general history of ancient and modern Europe. Highly recommend Jip and this tour!
Thanks Jake, I enjoyed your interest and company.
Jip Meijer was fantastic. He gave us detailed explanations complete with pictures and maps. This is the second visit to a WWII sight in less than a year with my teenage kids and both times we did a tour like the one Jip did and they were engaged from the start. My recommendation would be to stay the night down there and really take in all the culture, sites and restaurants but a day trip from Amsterdam or Brussels is very doable if that’s all the time you have.
Thanks Scott, I enjoyed your and your families company and interest. All the best, Jip
