Recently I went to Kashmir and Ladakh with my family. It was a tour of 16 days. The scenic beauty was awesome. We went to Srinagar, Kargil, Leh, Turtuk, Nubra, Pangong and Tso Moriri. Especially Turtuk and Pangong were really nice. Leh market was also very beautiful. We also enjoyed the Nubra camel ride. What made out trip extra nice was our awesome driver named Noor Mohd. He has many years of experience in taking tourists around Ladakh and was very careful about making us feel comfortable. He took care of us like his own family. He told us stories about Ladakh, made little jokes and made us laugh, took us to all the perfect spots for sightseeing. He NEVER felt irritated no matter how many times we asked him to stop the car so that we could click pictures of ourselves and the scenery. And he's also a very careful driver. He did not drive with high speed and drove with careful consideration. Definitely a perfect recommendation for all tourists. His phone numbers are: 77808 53389 and 94198 90787 .

It was a wonderful tour to Kashmir. Nature is filled with all the ingredients to call it ' Heaven on earth '. And the timing also was very good coz we experienced both tulip and snow. We stayed in Srinagar ( including 1 night in house boat), Gulmarg, Pahalgam. The tour was organised by ' Northwind tours and travels' and must say it was organised so nicely by Mr Sumit Adak( contact no.9083096975). He has taken care of everything right from the Srinagar airport.All the hotels arranged were really good.

Visited Kashmir Valley, on a tour program. It is fantastic place to visit. Militancy is slowly coming down. Locals are happy to see visitors coming back. Time to plan a visit with a local Tour guide, who knows the place well.
Jammu division has snowfall but not in Jammu city. If you are scares to go to Kashmir, go to Patnitop in Dec end or January and you will out of the world experience of snowfall, you can also visit Poonch, Kishtwar, Doda, Bani, Basohli, Sarthal to get views like you are in a foreign country.
