I did not know what to experience and boy was I surprised. It seemed the city had not changed in centuries. Very medieval looking. A Roman church that goes back before Christ. St Frances cathedral magnificent. The town is unbelievable and beautiful. Tourist yes but not like Pompey or Rome. We had lunch in one of their many restaurants. We only spent a day not enough time. We are going back and stay in the town for a couple of days. If you go stay on the buss until the very end. This way you can spend the day exploring the town by walking down hill. The hill is very steep. When we were there most people got off at the first stop and spent the day walking up the steep hills. I have been traveling over 60 years and have seen a lot of the world. Assisi Italy tops my list.

It was well worth the time and money. Out guide was wonderful. She new about everything, so intelligent, the towns history and history of the many churches, she answered all our questions.

Guide was very informative, knowledgeable and respectful. She took extra time with us and arranged use of elevator.

Marco was a super guide. He provided great information on all of the sites, and answered all of our questions. Marco was also on time at our meeting point. He has a super personality and we truly enjoyed our tour!

Very knowledgeable tour guide, Sabrina.. We learned about St Francis, St Claire, St Agnes and St Martin and saw the beautiful cathedral and it's history.
