Our guide was very helpful and knowledgeable about Romanian life in general and particularly about these unique fortified churches. She gave us a great deal of information but allowed time for us to experience them at our leisure. It was one of the best tours we did in Eastern Europe
Really good tour of the two churches from Brasov. The guide was very friendly. He stopped at a couple of others churches (that were closed) so I could see from outside, and then dropped me at the White Tower in Brasov so I could view that too. Would definitely recommend if you don't have a car. Both the main churches are very interesting.
Superb guided tour with Irena who spoke impeccable French and who for 3 hours explained to us a lot about the history of Romania and more particularly Transylvania and the fortified churches. Irena answered our questions, she has a great historical and artistic culture that she knows how to share. We had a great time. She's also a great driver! We recommend with your eyes closed.
