Tommaso came and picked my husband and I up at our hotel. We picked up boots for the truffle hunt. Started pouring right before our hunt so Tommaso took us for coffee. Then an amazing tour of a winery w homemade lunch. Since the rain stopped, we went and met Giuseppe and his dog Bebe for truffle hunting. That was so fun! We chased Bebe as she found truffles for us. The hunt happens in a wooded area. We collected a bunch of truffles and took them home with us. Tomas’s brought us back to our hotel and we had a fabulous day. I would highly recommend this tour. It was very well organized and Tomasso wanted to ensure that we were not inconvenienced by the pouring rain. Make sure we stay dry and comfortable. Everything fell info place. Giuseppe was kind enough to postpone our truffle hunt until the rain stopped. Once it cleared up, we had a great time! We learned so much from immersing ourselves in truffle hunting, and the Winery experience! Allot of fun and very enjoyable! Several people did not speak English, so Tommaso translated for us and that was excellent!!
