This was a great tour. We got to see so much nature, lakes, and scenery and of course the glacier was beautiful. There were many photographic opportunities and our guide was so helpful. Dave was the best!

The guide was good, it’s a long drive and he could have given us more historical details on the drive up like other guides I’ve been with. We also had to rush through lunch(not his fault) as one couple came back to the bus very late.

Great day trip with amazing views! Carl was an excellent guide — friendly, knowledgeable and very well organized. He made the whole journey enjoyable and gave us plenty of useful information along the way. Peyto Lake and the Columbia Icefield were definitely the highlights. We booked an excursion via Tripadvisor 4 months in advance with Jupiter Legend Corporation. On the day of departure we were picked up by Carl (yuyitravel.ca) without warning. What we bought was not what we got. We were the last ones on the bus instead of being the first and we didn't have 2 seats together, the last row had very little space for our feet. We had very little information. Nice excursion anyway, beautiful scenery.

Your pick-up point was the third stop, and there was one more stop after yours, so you were not the last group to board. As for the seating, we understand that you were not seated together. However, we would like to kindly note that seating arrangements are based on availability at the time of boarding, and we regret that we were unable to accommodate your preference on this occasion. That said, we truly appreciate your feedback and will continue working to improve our service.
Guide did not tell us much about the landmarks. Stop for lunch at the Crossing was useless and a waste of time, we could have easily waited 40 minutes to eat at a much nicer restaurant and have more choices at the Columbia Glacier center. 2 hours at Columbia Glacier was also waste of time, since we did not want to do the Glacier experience. They should separate the trip for people who don’t want to do the glacier experience and NOT wait 2 hours for others to finish.
