We made a tour with guide Elsa about the Roman period in Évora, we left the tour to know a bit of various times of the city in addition to the knowledge we acquired from the Romans and the monuments and details that he showed us along the way. Showed endless knowledge of the city with immense curiosity. We liked it very much and made want to go back to do other tours!

We had the most amazing and informative tour of Roman sites in Evora. The tour was easy to book via email and the company was very responsive. Our tour guide João was very knowledgeable about the history of the city, the region, and the country. We so appreciated that he took the time to sit down with us and ask us about our background: who we were and what we wanted to learn through the tour. We are archaeologists in the US but also don't have any background on Roman history. He was able to answer our questions and put them in a meaningful framework. We feel like we really got an insider view of some parts of the city and would recommend this tour and our guide to anyone! We were both able to come out of this experience with an appreciation of the city that we would not have had otherwise. Thanks to João and Evora Cultural Experience!
