A very enjoyable experience of making our own bonbons and learning about how different chocolate types are made. Both entertaining and educational. A nice feeling of creating something that can take away and present as a gift.

Brilliant experience, my friend and I loved it and had such fun with Paul our Chocolatier who was so knowledgeable and patient with us. Only 4 in the group so nothing was rushed and we learnt and tasted lots and of course took our bon bons home! Thoroughly recommend

The title is a bit misleading, I thought I would learn about a chocolate named melt, instead Melt is the name of the shop, and the class is about truffles. Nonetheless, I had a great time and learn a lot about chocolate. From the way to make your own chocolate, to the different flavours of chocolate depending on their origin and how to temper on a marble plate. We were given given genuinely good advices and made our own truffles to take away in a pretty box.

Far too crowded. Very small space that they squeezed 10 people into when it would have been comfortable with 6. Quite fun making the bonbons.

Really enjoyable! Paul, was our chocolatier!! He was fantastic, personalised the experience for me and was really informative, passionate and dedicated to explaining all the details and magical works of chocolate from different parts of the World. Also, the chocolates looked so wonderful as a gift! I gained a better understanding of what chocolate is, the flavouring and which ones suited me. I'd recommend it, and thanks again Paul for such an unforgettable, magical day at the Bonbons making experience at Notting Hill.

This was a minimal bonbon making class. I don’t recommend unless you have nothing better to do. There were 9 people in the class., 3 in our group. The chocolate shells were premade, bought shells. We had 1 pot for the 3 of us to melt the glucose and chocolate and butter on a shared hot pot. Once melted, it was divided into 3 piping bags and the shells filled. And into the refrigerator. The instructor than gave some chocolates from around the world to try for 15 mins. Then we decorated the bonbons with various flavors like hazelnut, coconut flakes, sea salt etc. Super basic and disappointed that we did not all get our own melting pots for the price we paid. Overpriced

I would change the details of this excursion. There was no “making bon bons”, which is what I signed up for. It was filling bon bon shells, eating some chocolate and learning about chocolate. Not what I signed up for and it wasn’t worth the price tag.

So much fun! The chocolate is delicious! The staff is so friendly! The whole experience exceeded our expectations.

What an incredible, interesting, and unexpected way to have fun in London! Everyone should do this! Emma was terrific!

I took my 10 year old to the Melt Bonbon experience as a special treat. Igor, our host was wonderful, so knowledgable and thoughtful. It was comparable to a wine tasting in the way we were guided through the nuances and complexity of chocolate tasting. We were lead through the history and geography of chocolate. It was fact filled but fascinating and never too much. The mix of knowledge, tasting and making was perfect. Igor encouraged us to work as a team as we decorated our bonbons. We were both so proud to take our beautiful boxes of handmade chocolates home. The workshop setting felt very deluxe, with a marble table top and lovely wooden tumblers and pinch pots. I really treasured this special experience and recommend it to anyone who enjoys eating chocolate! Thank you Igor.
