Good guide, nice tour around east Berlin. Seen a few things you normally wouldn't see by yourself

Absolutely top notch, and, yes, Darren is a perfect guide for this tour. A leisurely stroll to a selection of nice pubs (one of which has its own brewery) along with a fascinating historical commentary and insights into the social context of beer-drinking over the years. Of course there is some very good beer to be sampled (quite generously). If you like beer and want to learn some fascinating tidbits of Berlin's history along the way this is the tour for you.

Always a great tour and will continue to repeat as you meet others that enjoy history and beer. Good amount of walking too sr you can shake any jet lag.

This tour was fantastic. Darren was our guide & he was very knowledgeable about the area & personal towards getting to know us & everyone else on the tour also. He helped guide through picking beers & the area. I learned a lot of things I wouldn’t have known/seen from other tours.

Brilliant fun! Darren was an excellent host. Many quirky facts and stories rolled in with the history of Berlin, stops in the east side we’d never have gone to under the guise of going for a beer. Exactly what we wanted, to see Berlin without WW2 references as there is so much more to see.

Very great tour. Our guide was Darren and he gave us a lot of information on East Berlin and history during Cold War. We stopped at 4 pubs but had five drinks. The beers were delicious and the pubs were fun. Great time and wonderful way to see the city.
