Rishi, our guide, really was the best guide ever. He was absolutely charming, exceedingly knowledgable and brought the whole history of Amritsar, the Golden Temple and the Partition to life. We particularly enjoyed the private tour of the kitchens at the Golden Temple and learning how it is run entirely by volunteers feeding a minimum of 20,000 people a day. Fantastic tour!

WOW! What an amazing day Our guide Aman took us to the Golden Temple at sunrise and it was breathtaking. As soon as the sun started to rise the Golden Temple began to light up in full esplendor. It was such a view to my sleepy eyes. Plus the Temple is surrounded by water so the reflection makes it look even more larger than life. This place is full of charm and overall I felt so peaceful visiting this temple. After the visit we headed for breakfast. One must try the Amritsari parathas (yum!) with some hot tea.

Booking this tour was a good decision. Aman is knowledgeable about the city and its history. Discovering the city with Aman was an wonderful experience. We walked through alleys and markets to see 'hidden gems.' We climbed back stairs to see the beauty of Golden Temple that you will never forget. And, most importantly taste delicious local food. My first solo trip , it was amazing I started my tour with meeting Aman my guide just outside Golden temple . He transported me with his knowledge and power of delivery to another world of past and present . It’ was mesmerising. Just truly worth it .
