この24kmのサイクリングツアーは、主にコロンボの田舎を対象としています。コロンボはスリランカの主要な商業首都であり、ほとんどの観光情報源はコロンボをスリランカのショッピング、ナイトライフ、最も面白い都市と表現しています。コロンボ市は多くの旅行者の心に残る商業都市として位置付けられていますが、コロンボ市の制限から数マイル離れたところにあるとは思わないでしょう。コロンボの美しい田園地帯。

08.00 AM-TUK TUKドライバーに迎えられ、迎えに来て、サイクリングツアーの出発点に向かいます。 09.00 AM-出発点に到着すると、サイクリングツアーガイドがツアーと安全性について簡単に紹介します。 09.15 AM-ガイドでサイクリングを開始します。この3時間のツアーでは、主にコロンボの田舎を巡り、コロンボの風景、水田、水槽、鳥類保護区、自然を探索します。国会議事堂、ディヤワナ・オヤ湖エリア、コロンボ湿地を訪れることもできます。さらに、このツアーは単なるパドリングツアーではありません...！また、湿地の自然、歴史に関する民話、ポルトガル軍との最後の戦い、途中で人々が熱いお茶で腐った味を味わうでしょう。ツアーの最終段階では、ケラニヤ神殿を訪れます。 12.30 PM-ツアー終了後、TUK TUKドライバーがコロンボのホテルに戻ります。

My husband and I did the Countryside Cycling Tour in Colombo with Ashan. Despite heavy rain, we had the best time and Ashan is hands down the best tour guide we’ve ever had. Ashan was so thoughtful about every aspect; because it was raining, he brought us sandals so we didn’t get our shoes wet, when the rain got heavy he pulled us into a stop and we enjoyed cups of tea while he taught us so much about Sri Lanka, and as I can be a bit of a nervous rider, he always had an eye to make sure I was okay and modified the route to make sure we had a great time whilst still being comfortable. After weeks of mainly doing the tourist hot spots and activities based around eating/drinking, it was so lovely to get out in the open air and have a ride, meeting locals and seeing Sri Lanka from a bike rather than a bus! When Ashan spotted some locals fishing, he pulled over to talk to them and show us the fish, and when he spotted a crocodile in the water he took us back to wait to try to spot it again. This ride was one of our favourite things we’ve done in Sri Lanka, thank you so much Ashan! We’ll definitely be reaching out to do something else fun next time we’re in Sri Lanka!
