This trip was recommended to my husband and I from my father who had taken the trip years ago. We personally contacted Adrian our guide and he responded immediately and set up the trip. It was wonderful. Adrian was the perfect guide with all his knowledge. He made many stops for photos along the way, knowing the perfect places. He arranged an absolutely exquisite lunch for us as well. The weather was forecasted to be rainy and cloudy and we were worried it might hamper our views. As it turned out it was perfect, we are convinced that Adrian arranged that too. If you ever visit Barcelona and want to experience all that Andorra holds and learn the history and anything else about the area we highly suggest you contact Barcelona Day Trips and ask for Adrian. It was a once in a lifetime experience.

This was a fantastic tour and Adrian was our great guide! We visited and saw everything on the agenda and more. We had asked to see specific things and Adrian was able to accommodate these as well. We had lunch in a local restaurant and ate delicious local cuisine. Adrian knew the history and current events of Andorra, as well as its economy, government, and exports. He told about some of these in a story format to leave the finale when we visited the next place. This added intrigue and some had funny endings! Adrian added so much more to the tour than just the listed agenda. We travelled thru a 3 mile tunnel and he pointed out and explained its safety features (which we don't have in the US). He also pointed out the parts of the Tour de France and The Route Napoleon that we travelled on. He even played a song about Andorra in English. What a surprise! This tour was all day from/to Barcelona, but it was wonderful and we are so glad we went on this tour!

Our private tour with Adrian was simply spectacular from start to finish! We were picked up right at our hotel, which made everything completely hassle-free. Adrian was incredibly friendly, charismatic, and extremely knowledgeable about Spain and Andorra. He was also very attentive to our needs throughout the entire day. We needed a few extra bathroom breaks and quick snack stops along the way, and Adrian was more than happy to accommodate us. Since we had some extra time, he even took us to a few additional stops that weren’t on the original itinerary, which made the experience feel truly personalized. If you have never been to Andorra or the Pyrenees, it is an absolute must! And if you go, I highly recommend going with Adrian. He knows his stuff and has a wonderful way of making the experience both informative and fun. It was the perfect mix of education, exploration, relaxation, and adventure. We had an unforgettable day and would absolutely recommend Adrian to anyone looking for a fantastic private tour!

Last Monday we took a day long trip to Andorra from Barcelona with our private guide Adrian, a real pip. He was an eager photographer and took over a dozen pictures of Kathleen and I together with a wide variety of bucolic backgrounds across our travels, which took just over twelve hours. Adrian knows Andorra well and was an expert guide and driver, he took us through the tiny country and even out into the French side of the Pyrenees a bit before we returned to Barcelona just before sunset.

Adrian picked us up from our hotel near the train station and gave us an overview of Catalonia and Barcelona as we drove toward Andorra. We were treated to lovely villages and history along the way. Once in Andorra, Adrian knew all the little secret places, and it was a very efficient way to see this lovely country. We felt so privileged to have such excellent narratives to enhance our understanding of Andorra.

Adrian was a great guide and excellent driver. We learned a lot about Andorra and saw many sights. His recommendations for lunch were very good. Very friendly and professional. Overall, a great experience.

We visited Barcelona this summer, but our day trip to Andorra was the absolute highlight. You can take a bus that will dump you in the middle city, but hiring a guide is 100% the way to go. We absolutely loved our guide Adrian! He’s knowledgeable, entertaining, and is great with kids! His English is perfect. Adrian gave us the most fantastic tour of the capital, Andorra la Velle, and the gorgeous mountains and countryside. Walking around, you feel like you are in both Spain and France at once. It’s quite surreal. We had lunch at a fantastic restaurant, saw so many things we would have missed on our own, and even toured a medieval French chateau on the drive back. The day was 10/10!!
